For the second time I have been taken in by this business. Today after my vehicle broke down I called them and spoke with someone at the location and she assured me they would be a vehicle for me within an hour. When I found a ride to be dropped off at their location or were no vehicles available. They did give me a ride home and told me they would call as soon as something became available. That was nine hours ago. I had a similar experience in the past with this location when I had made online reservations for days in advance. No vehicles were available on that day either.
The employee from the Raytown office called and reconfirmed my 8:30 AM, July 21, 2022 car rental reservation the day before I was to pick up the car. I walk in at 8:30 and the employees tell me there are no cars available for me. All their cars are being serviced across the street at Firestone. I placed my reservation for the car rental online in June, 2022. Then I'm told there won't be a car available for at least 2 hours. They drove me back home and picked me up 2 hours later. They gave me that very same vehicle to use as my rental. I discovered later that night that the insurance policy sold to me for the trip wasn't for the Chevrolet Equinox I was driving. I called that office three times and no one answered. I sent an email to the employee who gave me his business card if I needed help or questions. No reply was ever received. I will not use Enterprise Rental again.
I had the most outstanding customer service from the location in Raytown, Missouri.. from Jamad Thomas and Dayla Moore. Outstanding customer service, great communication, understood the assignment, very patient, very professional, very speedy and got me in & out. They went above and beyond. I will definitely be renting from that location again, and anyone that I refer to them.. I’ll be telling them to ask for these two.
I rode around everywhere all day to several of their locations and was never able to actually pick up a car. Despite the fact that I called ahead to each location and asked very specific questions to make sure all my bases were covered. Yet every location went back on the answers to the questions and the information they told me. After I made my reservation and once I was at the location to pick up car the informed me that I in fact cannot rent a car. Ever. Unless I have a major credit card. Which I do not have. I have no desire to ever have a credit card. They said I didn't need one. They lied.
I probably should have given 3-4 stars because this rental did not start off good at all. I was promised an SUV the day before for a plan trip that next morning. Funds were taking and we were set to start our trip waiting for a call letting us know that they SUV was ready. It got to be noon and no call, nothing! We finally got a hold of the staff at Raytown store at 2pm making us late for the meeting that we had in 3 different cities. The staff told us that Enterprise had overbooked and no cars were available and definitely not an SUV. Long story short and skipping to the chase we got a hold of the location manager Quentin who not only found us an SUV but had it ready to pick up in 45 mins. I understand that in business things can happen and as inconvenient as that day was at least Quentin didn't stop until he made something happen for us. That's going the extra mile!!
We needed a car while my husband's truck was in the shop for body work. I feel a bit guilty for admitting that I'm not sorry a huge 18 wheeler backed into his truck because I got to meet Dom. Dom helped us through the rental process, making it pain free and even fun dare I say it?. He explained everything about the car with its multitude of high tech features. I would not have felt comfortable if his explanations weren't simple and very thorough. I felt like I did the first time I bought a brand new car! I may only get to drive this fire engine red mustang convertible for a few days, but it will be fun while it lasts. Thanks to Dom and to Enterprise for having such outgoing and truly helpful employees. It was VERY busy while we were there but I never felt rushed or "pushed along". All my questions were answered and we were treated like we were the most important customers of the day. We had rented a car from this location one time previously. Dom made the experience this time the kind of positive experience you want to shout out to everyone.
I will be back. I liked the way I could provide everything online prior to arriving so when I did arrive the time to pick up the car was minimal. Friendly and professional. The car was clean and ready to go as expected, everything worked and complimentary clorox type wipe for covid security if you're not comfortable knowing how well they cleaned the car prior. I rented from a different company a week prior and the experience was horrible. Thanks for doing it right Enterprise.
I've talked to many enterprise locations trying to secure a rental. This is the first one that actually cared to help even though they were out of vehicles. Big shout out to Quinton at this location for going above and beyond to actually look around and then notify me when a vehicle was found instead of telling me to try again tomorrow.
While having an issue with another store closer to me, I didn’t want to deal with Enterprise. I did talk to someone at the Raytown Missouri office and was happy that I had. They stepped up and while they apologized for my experience in trying to set up my rental at the previous location, they made sure they assisted in a shuttle and all even though they were slightly outside of my area. Tucker and his staff was Great. I hope I don’t have to use Enterprise for another insurance claim as I had been rear ended for this particular visit but no matter what the reason if I have to rent again I would definitely visit Raytown again.
Horrible!! Why give me a confirmation number to not have vehicle available when I arrived per email confirmation..your company took a special event from me that I cannot get back....this company is a joke and I hope you go out of business
