Vanessa from Epic Salon has single-handedly allowed me to fall back in love with my hair! As I’ve gotten older, my hair has gotten so dry. It was becoming lifeless, dull, flat, etc. I was overusing hot styling tools to try and make it look presentable, but that was doing more damage of course. Vanessa never tries to push products or treatments on me, she prefers to keep things really simple - less is more in her book. She gives me her honest advice about what I should do in between appointments and how I should care for my hair which has helped transform it and finally restore moisture into it. Also, she’s SO thorough when trimming my hair. You can tell how focused she is every time, she double and triple checks her work along the way, and she doesn’t allow herself to get distracted with talking or multitasking. She’s truly amazing, I can’t recommend her enough, especially if you’ve been struggling with the health of your hair like I was for a while. The salon itself is very nice and clean inside. I’ve gone here for a little while now but then my stylist left, so I tried someone new. Wish I never did. My blond was yellow, she was rough as hell with my head, and she rushed me to fit in another client early. I wanted balayage and she just did highlights. We discussed doing low layers in my hair which she conveniently forgot about, and I wanted curtain bangs. She cut them super thick and short. She couldn’t even style them herself. If you don’t know how to do a haircut just say that, don’t try and ruin someone’s hair. Not to mention they seem snobby there. Never going back there. This is the worst experience I ve ever had at hair salon. All they care about is money $$$ and not the customer service…I was rushed to get my hair done and paid more than I was told at the beginning. paid $290 for half balayage only no blowout no treatment while Lindsay the stylist said $190!! On top of that I was charged $60 for hair cut that I didn’t get because I didn’t show up but i have responded to their text that I would like to reschedule and after email and talking to the manger etc they end up charging me the full amount and they never cared about keeping their customersService: Balayage
I spent $190 on a highlights at this salon. I've been a platinum blonde all my life and had not had my hair done in months. I left the shop after 3-hours, w my hair a darker brown than when I arrived, and very disappointed. The stylist had me back, and spent an hour trying to fix, which didn't make much a difference. I emailed the shop to discuss and they never responded. My hair is naturally light and lifts easily. I showed the stylist a picture of myself and what I wanted. I also liked her blonde color and told he that was how light I wanted mine. If you are looking for platinum, this shop can't do it. Don't waste your money.Services: Haircut
