Bunch of arrogant, money hungry, condescending, rude real estate agents. Especially Renee Berman is extremely unpleasant to deal with. She is highly unprofessional and very aggressive. Read the reviews and save yourself the headache. There are plenty of very good realtors out there, especially in the today's housing market!
ERA colonial is by far the best experience that I've had with real estate. Kim has been my realtor for 6 years now. I bought my house and currently selling my house through this company. Kim is the MOST helpful person that I have ever met. She goes above and beyond for her clients. The office staff is very friendly as well. Lety Ford made my first time home buying experience pleasant and she was very accommodating. I never felt rushed or like she was just trying get the sale. She took time explaining the steps and made sure I had a clear understanding every step of the way. I would highly recommend her any day and I appreciate her hard work.
A great home selling experience; Eva Keagle is a superb agent. We had two offers and the home sold within 24 hours of listing. Eva and her assistant Amy were very responsive and always looking to make sure things were done in our best interest. Great team which I highly recommend.
WORST REALITY COMPANY EVER AS YOU MAY SEE!!!!! Do not rent with this company. They are the worst and most unprofessional renters company I have ever rented from. Being in the military we have rented from so many companies. The owner never took care of fixing our home when we had a problem with it. We had the fence blown down during a storm and the company and homeowner did't fix the fence. We had small kids and 2 dogs that wanted to go out and play and we couldn't have them out there due to the old fence and nails coming off of the boards. We ended up fixing the whole right side of the fence with our own money. We also never got reimbursed for the fix we had to made. The roof was leaking and flacking off from the years of no one checking the roof and the houses structure. They just put a tarp on it and said that " The homeowner was going to get a contractor to come and fix it". Guess what No One Did!!!! Also we put in a work order for the windows to be fixed since they wouldn't open and stay open. Guess what No One Fixed It. This was a old house from the 1980's and we knew that when we rented it it was old. We never thought that the owner would not fix the problems that it came with the house. When it came to our contract being renewed for another year. The homeowner and ERA came over and had a walk through while we were on vacation. Nothing was wrong with the house other then all of the previous work orders we needed fixed. He gave us a 30 day notice two weeks after the inspection. We told them that we wanted to stay and renew our contract before the renew date in January 2015. At of no where we got a 30 day notice to find a new place. So we moved even though we wanted to stay there. When it cam to the cleaning inspection we hired someone to come out and clean the house and payed $250.00. On their cleaning list that they give you they want you to pick a company that will give 30 days guaranteed. We choose a company with 30 days guaranteed and they never called us or emailed us to call them back and come clean up the stuff we never passed on. They said " We never received your receipt for the cleaning company, when we gave it personally to the person who came to inspect the house". This was not our fault and instead of a call or an email we got charged another $365.00 for cleaning. We put an email in to find out why we got charged $365.00 for cleaning when we had someone clean the house and we also had the 30 day guaranteed. I still to this day 1 month later have not received my email back !!!! I have now called the company and they said it was our fault that they never got the receipt. We personally gave it to the lady who comes and checks the house before you turn in the key. She lost it or never turned it in and to save her ass she never called us to ask for another copy. WORST REALITY COMPANY EVER AS YOU MAY SEE!!!!! Now we are building our Savings Account up again and still tight on money from the new move we just made.
What a terrible experience. It took three months for our realtor to contact us after we put our house on the market to discuss a price drop in order to sell the house. The grass was grown up and we heard about it from a friend before he informed us. We live in a different state than the house is located, so we were depending on the realtor to keep us informed of what was going on. He failed to do so and we never knew what the status was until we called him multiple times. After receiving an offer on the house, we were going to loose about $7,000. When the appraisal came back, the house was appraised $3,000 less than the offer we agreed upon. This was AFTER we replaced the roof and did the required repairs that the buyer was asking for. After that, we were going to owe $10,000! What's worse is he told us we couldn't get a copy of the appraisal, which is total B.S. I had the feeling that the appraiser was well known by the buyer and the house was intentionally appraised low in order to get a better deal. the whole thing smelled like a scam to me. This was a VA transaction so the appraisal was the be all end all for the price of the house, it made no difference what we agreed upon in the contract. All the other homes in the area were being sold for $7,000 to $10,000 more than our house appraised for. We ended up terminating our contract and will be renting the house out to make up for the money we lost during this process. Very poor customer service, lack of communication, and misinformation during the whole process.
