Červená Barva Press was founded in April of 2005. The press solicits poetry, fiction, translations, and plays from various writers around the world, and holds open contests regularly for its chapbooks, postcards, broadsides and full-length books. Though the press mostly solicits work, there is an open reading period from January 2-February 10th of each year. Please see submission guidelines on our website. We look for work that has a strong voice, is unique and takes risks with language. We have published writers from numerous countries including: Northern Iraq, Indonesia, Romania, Sweden, Poland, Czech Republic, England, New Zealand, South Korea, France, Canada, USA, Argentina, Ukraine, Mexico, Turkey, and Belgium.
