I've been a patient with Dr. Ervin Norman for approximately a year. I just changed to another Dr. because I was not happy with the care. Also, the front desk was just a pain to work with. Don't get me wrong, the Dr. and administrative staff were nice I just didn't think they were very good. The Dr. wouldn't refer me to a chiropractor because the thought they just "Separated people from their money". I don't agree and I found it funny that the Dr. that requires you to come in just to tell you your blood work looks good would criticize anyone for trying to get your money.
He's been a very good diagnostician for me. Been going to him for about 15 years. Takes his time with you, good manner, and doesn't overbook or run more than a few minute behind. Everyone on the staff is very personable. The run-down office furniture has been replaced recently. I would recommend him.
I had a few problems with the staff trying to communicate with me on certain issues and what I could and could not do about it. I was disappointed to go to my last visit there and be told "oh, we don't accept your insurance anymore, and probably never will. He was a good doctor, but that is absolutely rude. I drove 45 minutes for an annual physical and refills on my maintenance medications and was basically turned away. I now have insurance they DO accept and will not go back. A doctor should care enough about your health than to do something like that.
I agree with the interior of his office as being very much rundown. He needs to replace his office furniture. When you sit in on of the chairs you sink almost to the floor! Other than that, he appears a very much well-rounded practitioner!!!
