This school does not do placement testing, so my child was placed in a curriculum two years behind Massachusetts'. She was given two semesters worth of work for four classes to do virtually over the summer, that is a lot of work!. When her summer classes started we did not have a computer, the school did nothing to help us. They said they wouldnt be issuing any more take home laptops. So she started out two weeks behind. Then we get a call from the school around mid-June, saying they will retain her and to get in contact with a guidance counselor. Well let me tell you, I have called every grade's guidance counselor, administration, and even the principle! I have not had a single phone call answered or returned. This school is half a** backwards and has done nothing to help my child advance. I have never delt with a school who has been so nonchalant about holding a child back a grade. The people are nice when you can get a hold of them, but do not seem to care about the success of their students.
Worst school I ever went too. If you want to go to a better school just go to Pine Forest or Washington. I liked Pine Forest more than Escambia. The faculty ,teachers ,and students are mostly bad.
It's better than people think. Every school has its down sides, I wouldn't want to go to any other school. We can't hide our Gator Pride
Had great times here. NJROTC, Drivers Ed, and running a mile every day was the high points of this school. Ok, maybe sarcasm on the last part, haha
Everyone experiences things differently this school is pretty good in general
We caught fire yesterday. The sewage floods the halls. It's GROSS And who cares who graduated from here? I go here and it's crappy.
Anyone who told you it was bad here is basically saying they were in the wrong crowd of people.
