A wonderful experience from our sales associate, Nancy Suzette-Gray Pasadena location, scheduling dept. for delivery to the 2 young men who delivered our furniture. Nancy was a gem in understanding our vision and feel we wanted in our home. Along with her professional experience in her ideas and guidance as we selected wood stains for our entertainment center, office furniture and fabric for our desk chair everything looks absolutely lovely in our home!!
We recently spent almost $30K in Ethan Allen, Pasadena on a dining set and two sofas for our new condo. To make a long story short, the dining tabletop had significant flaws, blemishes, chipped corners and holes filled with putty. Don’t fool yourself with in-store samples. Once they have your money, you are stuck with what you get and no one takes responsibility for what has been delivered to your home. The accent pillows that came with the sofas did not match our selected material and did not include the surrounding fringes. Tiffany, the sales lady evidently had not placed the correct order according to our selected material. Despite sending pictures of our selected material to Greg the manager as well as Tiffany, both of them still refuse to take any responsibility and accept their mistake. After spending some $30 K in this store, they refuse to even replace $200 worth of pillows that was due to filling a wrong order form. When you are in Ethan Allen, you think you’re dealing with a reputable company until the furniture is delivered. If you’re in the market for anything with after-purchase services and warranty, you’re better off avoiding Ethan Allen. Their sales tactics are just like entering car dealerships. Never again will I or anyone in my extended family shop at Ethan Allen. Don’t give them any of your hard-earned money. Horrible service, no accountability and their prices are very expensive. They deserve numerous negative stars, if any star at all.
I don’t want to write a bad review. But I want people to know before they deal with Ethan Allen in Pasadena, CA. My recent purchase for $30K includes a dining table and two sofas. I was very disappointed to see the dining table top that came with many flaws and blemishes, putty-filled dents, and chipped edges. Since they have received the full payment, they do not accept any responsibility and insist that the tabletop was constructed correctly. You have to eat their mistakes, take my word for it. For the pillows that came with the sofas, Tiffany the sales lady messed up placing the right order. The pillows came with no fringes and the wrong material. When I took the pillows to the showroom in Pasadena, I was told by Greg the store manager that I will get a replacement. But after a week I was informed that I wouldn’t receive a replacement. I wouldn’t trust a word coming from Greg’s mouth. They could have resolved their mistake by simply setting aside their pride and delivering 4 pillows according to the initial order which would have costed them only $200 or even less. I thought Ethan Allen was a reputable business, but turned out that it’s just another company trying to rip you off and get every penny out of your pocket. I guess once they get the sale, they care less about the customer. This was the worst purchase of 2022 if not ever. Disappointed is just an understatement. This company has the worst customer service and I would avoid doing any business with them. They deserve no stars at all.
This is a top notch furniture store with first class staff and service. We decided to buy new furniture for our house and a friend suggested Ethan Allen. We walked in the store and were met by Greg Boisvert, the manager. He was friendly, knowledgeable and provided us with many different options. He let us think and talk and was the perfect salesperson. The rest of the team was also very helpful when it came down to picking fabrics and wood finishes. They all want you to be happy! We have since gone back several times and have had nothing but perfect service and everything we purchased exceeded expectations. If you need furniture - go visit this store!
Ethan Allen is an upscale furniture store, there is a piece I had been considering for a few years, but due to the expense of it was just a little more then I could spend. I stopped by a week ago and the staff was super helpful, helped me find what I needed and it ended up being on sale..... Score!!! I really appreciated them working with me, and making sure I got what I needed. Thanks for the great customer service
Originally I met with a sales designer and she came to my home and designed everything, this was a great experience. The designer had very lovely taste and explained that I would need to wait about 2 to 3 months. I finally decided okay this will give me time to paint the rooms and prepare for the new furniture. Both the rooms were empty. I am not happy with the lack of communication and with the long wait. I would not here from my sales person unless I reached out to inquire. I ordered my furniture back in February and still have only received half of my order after almost 6 months and I only received a partial of one of the rooms. I ordered 2 rooms of furniture for my new home. Once I received part of my order I was informed my table was broken and I would need to wait again. I paid for the table and I have yet to see a refund on my account. I placed a sizable deposit on my furniture and was told I cannot cancel because it was custom made furniture, even though tables and lamps we're not custom. This was my first time shopping with Ethan Allen and will probably be my last.
I have had the best experience anyone could ever ask for when shopping to furnish their home. Greg and Asla at the Pasadena store are incredible designers, very creative and knowledgeable. They feel like part of our family! Ethan Allen design and quality are top notch, spot on. My home is getting to be gorgeous thanks to Ethan Allen! Living my BEST life thanks to Ethan Allen and all the fun I've had working with such a great design team.
We purchased our first sofa from Ethan Allen a while back and have been so far thrilled with the quality. I've since been back to the Pasadena store a few times looking for other accessories, and this review is actually for one of their decorators, Nancy. She was extremely helpful, very knowledgable about the products, went out of her way to give me options and suggestions, went so far as to come to our home with samples - all without being too pushy or putting pressure on us to buy quickly. I wish every store had sales reps like Nancy. Dealing with her reminded me why we still need in-person stores and what we miss when we buy online!
We had an incredible experience at Ethan Allen and are still adding pieces to our home. We love the customer service at the store, selection and quality of products, customization options, and delivery. This is where you go for furniture that is worth the money and will last. We worked with Greg and had a very positive experience!
I have purchased furniture from this chain ever since I bought my 1st house. They have quality furniture which will last a lifetime.
