Very nice RC hobby shop they had nitro fuel for a fair price
I don't like to leave negative reviews and try to be understanding of everyone's situation. I'm only sharing this review for customers who Intend on driving a good bit of distance to visit this honbyshop. I've driven 2 hours one direction twice in the last two weeks to attempt to purchase a rc truck for my son's birthday day that he seen at this shop during a trip to the Shenandoah caverns. The last trip I made wasn't such a big deal because I still had time to make it back to be able to purchase the rc truck. Today, 5/21/22 I arrived at the shop just a little after 10 A.M and the doors was locked again, so I called the number and spoke to a gentleman who stated they have a bunch of road calls at the moment but he would see what he could do and give me a call back so I waited an hour and and over $125 dollars in gas. This is very frustrating, not so much for me but to not have put in all this effort to still not have the truck my son wanted for his birthday. Hopefully this shop can work out their staffing issues and be available for posted store hours.
After having our 6 year olds truck break, they made it right and we're very friendly about the whole situation! Great staff! Elmer and Matt definitely know their stuff and we appreciated their recommendations on the best fit for his first truck! We will definitely be returning for future purchases!
Nice selection of rc cars, trucks, planes, etc... And all the parts you might need to fix them when you crash or want to upgrade. Matt was helpful and patient... Didn't rush me to make a decision. Give this small business YOUR business instead of the big box stores!
Picked up this Roguewave Revolution boat to try! Just wished they had a bigger seclection of boats and drones.
Just discovered this place, despite my being frequently in this area for 40+ years. My son young teenager needed some parts for an ancient nitro car. 15 year old or so nitro t-maxx. Upon entering the shop, Mr Matt immediately greeted me, despite being on a phone call. I glanced around while he was finishing business, and I must say the shop was VERY organized, clean, and well stocked. *I've been to many hobby stores, and I have never seen one so nice, with such a wide variety, that was so well organized! * I would like to address something else - Someone in another comment put down the pricing. Look, I've never met Matt before today, I hadn't read the comments, and I casually mentioned hopefully in a non offensive way to Matt that I KNOW can get the part cheaper online, just like you can buy literally ANYTHING online for less. Point is - This isn't about price, it's about getting what you want NOW and it's about **GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE**. You aren't going to get that ordering your part online from China. Personally, I found the prices VERY reasonable, competitive, and EXACTLY in line with what I would expect to pay in a store. Great job Matt, can't wait to I'm in town with my son so he can check the store out. Looking forward to doing future business with you.
Never open when we go there although we go during the hours they say they are open, never answers the phone and never calls back. Is this guy in business?? When you DO get in the selection and prices are good.

Extremely friendly staff with an amazing selection of planes and trucks. Check them out! If not there, call - they are usually nearby!
