I would like to give a huge shout out to the Euclid Police Department. Especially Dispatcher Badge # 164 & Officer Nyman. I called this morning for help in unlocking my car door. Both individuals were true professionals and represented Euclid Police Department admirably. The woman and men of our nations police departments need our support and loyalty in these most difficult of times.
So why is Amiott not fired?? He was found guilty of a crime and you put him on "desk duty"?? Good citizens of this city should be outraged that a cop is treated different than you all.
I'm from another state and called the EPD to ask them to do a "welfare check" on an aged relative who was not answering phone calls. The dispatcher was very courteous, professional and helpful. They promptly sent out a team who determined my brother was fine and safe. You couldn't ask for better service. Thank you all for your service!
I locked my keys out of my car and the officer got me & my daugjter back in . I had to wait about an hour ,which is understandable since it was not a life or death emergency. I wish I could remember the officers name because he was nice , respectable ,and amused my child . Thank you Euclid PD
I'm from another state ashes to do a welfare check on my 14 yr old granddaughter that had been pushed into a wall by her dad That has no custody and in on APA SUPERVISION and I just found out was staying in a boarding house Dispatch Bryan #191 took the call sd he'd send an officer out to follow up and assured me they'd give me a call an hour and a half later I call to follow up on hold Forever then finally after the second call someone answered told him my reason for calling he started to say something then the voice changed I asked who was I speaking with cause this isn't the same Voice he sd his Name was Matt and he took over the call because the other guy was in training and he was a MATTER of Fact it is what it is tone and I SD what I SD they did the check the person in question is 21 yrs old and is safe and could make her own decisions he started to yell when I SD she's 14 yrs old and a minor may be in a harmful situation Clearly they didn't talk to the one with the Busted Lip they talked to the daughter that just turned 21 Call for action News Bodycam Save our Children
We unfortunately have had to contact the Euclid Police because of neighbors. Drug use. Physical abuse. Attempted break in. Leaving a pup out in the rain over 2 days. At first attempted to speak with the neighbors, but they were too stubborn or chronically angry. Only then, did we call the Euclid Police. Each time handled promptly and professionally. We have a better neighborhood to show for it.
“Cop” pulled me over on the highway in an UNMARKED car, I was going 22 over to pass a group of people, didn’t get a ticket, wasn’t asked for insurance, wasn’t shown a badge. Had turned on his lights after I had slowed down a little to get him out of my butt because he was tailgating so hard I couldn’t see his headlights, told me to “slow down” and walked away. I definitely should have gotten a ticket 100%. Someone is out there pretending to be a cop... HOWEVER the lady who I called from the google number was very nice and helpful and just as weirded out as me, she gets five stars. Every cop needs a retraining and much more supervision, out here acting like toddlers...
Euclid Police have always been there for me and my family. Unlike other departments, I always see EPD patrolling, working on a case, or being involved with the community. These men and women work hard at their jobs to maintain the peace. When I have called them because someone had a gun to my head trying to rob me, or when I found someone in my garage trespassing and stealing, they came quickly and did their best. I hope EPD maintains their high standards of excellence and if there is ever a time they are in need, i will be sure to help in any way I can.
I called the Euclid Police because someone was attempting to do a drive by shooting on my house. The first time I called them they didn't come. The second time I called an officer barged into my house and proceeded to curse me out, demean me and blame me. I sat up in fear for my life the entire night. who do you call when the police refuse to protect you?
Got pulled over some time ago cop got in my face for anything he could think of. Euclid is falling for many reasons. A bad police department is one of them.
