The Department operates two 75 foot quints, a 110 foot quint and three MICU's from three fire stations. The Department responded to 4160 calls for emergency services in 2011. The Department is very active in regional fire issues including participation in the NEFDA group, as well as automatic and mutual aid agreements with surrounding Cities.
The Euless Fire Department is ranked one of the best in the State for fire protection and prevention. The Fire Department is very proud to be one of only a handful of departments in the State that has been awarded an ISO CLASS 1 designation by the Insurance Service Organization. The ISO rates municipal fire protection on a scale of Class 1 through Class 10, with a 1 designating excellent service.
The department was originally established as a small volunteer organization in 1955 and has grown with the area into the career department of today. We are proud to be associated with our neighboring communities in a joint effort to provide excellent service to the residents of our community and the 14 combined communities comprising the North East Fire Department Association.
