About ATA
The American Taekwondo Association (ATA) is the premier North American organization deticated to the martial arts discipline of Taekwondo, and is the foinding organization of other international affiliates that include the World Traditional Taekwondo Union (WTTU) and the Songahm Teakwondo Federation (STF). Counting both the United States and worldwide, our organizations have over 1,500 independently owned and operated licensed schools and clubs, and have registered over one million students since the ATA's inception in 1969.
Since the first class was tought many years ago, the focus of our program has remained the same: to provide students the highest quality martial arts instruction avalible ina safe and positive learning enviroment that people of all ages can enjoy. Our instructors combine excellent students instructor ratios with state of the art training facilities. This has helped establish ATA schools and clubs as the leader in the martial arts industry. Each instructor is a graduate of an instructor program that represents more than thirty years of research and development. He or she will be with you every step of the way to help you reach your individual goals (and maybe even reach some new goals you never before thought possible).
About Our Instructors:
Mr. Lance Evans is a 4th Degree Black Belt in the American Taekwondo Association. He has been studying martial arts for over 17 years. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Iowa State University, and is currently working toward a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Walden University. He lives in Marion, IA with his wife, Jana, and his two daughters, Steffanie and Allyson. Mr. Evans has received the following honors:

Region 114 Instructor of the Year (2005, 2007, 2010)
