I had my root canal with Dr. Blackburn. The "initial evaluation" was extremely quick and careless and he acted annoyed answering simple questions. Then when I got my root canal done and had questions, he told me to ask my regular dentist. After the procedure, I followed all the directions but continued to have pain. Dr. Blackburn called me and basically said to only call back when scheduling to get my tooth pulled. He would not bring me back in to see if the root canal failed or what was going on. He's extremely neglectful and careless of his patients. My regular dentist even said how horrible it was that he did that and mentioned how several people have had the same issue with him. I now have to go see another dentist to check on the root canal since he would not. I have never left a bad review in my life but felt this was necessary to prevent others from having to go through the same thing.
Just had a root canal procedure performed today by Dr. Brasseale. I was extremely pleased with the job he and his assistant did. I can honestly say I had zero pain anywhere in the tooth or surrounding area during or after the event. I would highly recommend their services.
I had a very very good experience here getting a root canal! Dr Brasseale and his assistant are so good. They explain every step as they do it and they made sure I didn’t endure ANY discomfort during the procedure! I was nervous going in, but they are very good at making you feel comfortable.
They did great doing the root canal but the front office secretary was horrible to other patients. Let me give you two examples to paint the tragic picture we witnessed today. A young lady was done with her appointment and went to check out. The secretary belittled her because she was not aware that the full balance was owed. The young lady apologized and stated that she is trying to get a second job so that she can pay down her balance. The secretaries response “well that doesn’t do us any good today does it.” I almost came out of my seat!! She went on to make fun of that patient after she left saying “I thought she’d be able to pay because she pulled up in a nice car…but I guess she borrowed it from someone.” Next, the secretary called an older lady to tell her she missed her appointment. The lady said she was sorry and explained that on Monday she fell and hurt her hip. The secretary scheduled her for another visit, hung up the phone and began making fun of the lady for falling. Mind you, we can hear everything she is saying because she’s basically screaming it to her co-workers and they are having a field day at the expense of others. This review is not about the folks in the back fixing patients dental issues…they were fantastic. It’s about the front office staff who clearly have NO compassion for others!
I had to have a root canal done today after a bad experience with a dentist. I have extreme anxiety when it comes to shots or having work done on my mouth. Dr. Brasseale was nothing short of phenomenal. Him and his amazing assistant walked me through every step and made sure I was comfortable the entire time!! I don’t know the last time I was treated like this at an office, but today was the first time I didn’t have anxiety without medicine. That says SO much!!! So THANK YOU SO MUCH Dr. Brasseale! I highly recommend!!!
Today I had to have a root canal. I was referred to Dr.Brasseale from my family dentist. I was extreamly nervous about the procedure until I walked in the door. The entire staff was absolutely amazing. The receptionist answered every single question I had before and during the appointment. Amber and Dr.Brasseale took amazing care of me. They talk me through the entire procedure, made sure I was pain free, kept me relaxed, and went over everything including after care. I really could not have had a better experience!!!
The receptionist was obnoxiously rude and I will agree she doesn't need to be in this line of work making others feel less than human. Everyone else seemed nice and the process for a root canal was quick and painless. As a past receptionist myself, I would have never treated someone the way I was treated today by her.
I had a root canal done with Dr. Blackburn. His assistant was very kind, and explained what was going to happen before he came in. When he came in, he rattled off what a root canal was, how it worked & the risks like he was annoyed he had to explain it again. He asked if it was okay to proceed, I said yes, that was the last time he spoke to me. Didn't explain what he was doing, what was going to happen or anything. Procedure was as quick & painless as possible, but don't ask Dr. Blackburn any questions. After procedure I asked one simple question, all he said was "Yes" and walked out of the room, said "unbelievable" and threw his hands up in the air, shaking he head and rubbing his head in frustration. He was in plain site of me and had to have known I would have seen and heard him. The assistant came in and asked if something was wrong, I told her what I had asked and she actually took the time to answer the question with a full explanation and with respect for the patient. I have a huge fear of the dentist, told him that I was extremely nervous and actually trembled the entire procedure, had my hands clinched together and my eyes shut. Didn't complain at all or ask any questions or stop him through the procedure, just asked one simple question after and got a terrible response. I was holding back tears while paying for procedure. I will never go back to him.
I saw Dr. Krie Brasseale in 2012 for a root canal of a bottom rear tooth. He walked me through the process, it was very painless, and it was complete in ~20 minutes. It still has had 0 problems to this day after the surgery. I was just recently referred to him for my two front teeth due to issues and he told me that one could be saved from a root canal and the other could not. He completed one and it was absolutely painless and went great. He advised me to get the other pulled because a low risk of a successful root canal; he does not remove teeth. It was yet another reason I trust his opinion because he referenced me to a different specialist and away from him getting my business on the other tooth to make sure I was was completely happy. He was very thoughtful, nice, and seems to truly care about his patients. Strongly recommend him.
Dr Brasseale along with Jamie by his side, took care of me this week. I’ve had several root canal procedures done in the past. My experience today was done efficiently and I felt at ease during the entire procedure. Dr. Brasseale gave me play by play action as he performed the procedure. Jamie made me aware of possible feelings I might encounter. She provided me with excellent discharge planning as well. Dr. Brasseale took time to talk to me afterwards which also made me feel well taken care of. I highly recommend this team of professionals! Thank you both! Less Details
