A sandwich shop with a cause. For every sandwich we sell, we will donate one to our local non-profit partners Community Action Servies and Food Bank, Tabitha's Way, Family Support and Treatment Center, and Food & Care Coalition.
Maybe it was the strawberry milkshake, maybe it was the fries. Whatever it was, something about the old Provo Malt Shoppe at 1290 N and University Ave was aphoristic. Legend had it, that after their very first date over burger and fries, a couple was destined to marry. And because we had the honor of moving into the coordinates of the old make-out...uh...wholesome date spot…we took the opportunity to pay some homage to their everlasting love.
Especially considering that our very own founder, Steve Down met his partner Colleen at that very spot. (No, we’re not kidding)
Shop features include a wall of names of couples who met at the Malt Shoppe, vintage photographs and custom artwork by Provo artist Hayley Barry who, believe it or not, got married the same week she finished the piece.
