Evergreen Rv Park

In over 2 years of full time rv living we have never been cancelled till this park. This guy calls us and says they have to cancel our reservation. When I ask why he says cause they book online and in person and double booked the site. Mind you, my reservation was made 4/29. After pressing him, he then admits its because the person in the site wants to stay longer and extended. Now all the sites are booked. Had I known this info we could have chosen a different site or park before being screwed over. Thanks!

No wonder the review is so bad they are a bunch of crooks I had a paid reservation week prior to my arrival they canceled my reservation. Probably they sold it to somebody else for more money.Rooms: 1/5

Do not book this place they canceled on me with an Email not even a call or explanation. I had reservations 30 days prior. I should have read reviews first awful place an people to do this to someone.

My experience in the last 3 days have been peaceful and quiet with the only noise of birds ,train and kids laughter that's good enough for my soul . Super clean and private and close to Ventura and stores Very excellent location to walk or drive too. We will definitely stay here again .

They were very rude. Never gave a gate code and have a curfew at 9. They dont want tourist essentialy. At last that was my experienceRooms: 1/5

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. My husband and I headed to Oxnard CA for about a month; my husband is working in Oxnard. I called a week before we would be there. On my first call with Bruce at Evergreen, he was pleasant and stated he had a spot for us. So my husband and I reserved it. After we hung up, he called me back and stated the spot was only a 30amp. I told him I don’t know if that will work, but expressed to hold onto our reservation and that I will call him back. On Sunday morning, I called and there was no answer; no voicemail so I texted him stating that we will be there on June 4th. No response for 2 days. I called again and spoke to a lady. When I told her that Bruce was the one that took my reservation, she stated that he will have to call me back. He never did and after waiting 3 hours, I picked up the phone and called again. This time, Bruce answered the phone and confirmed our reservation for Saturday, June 4th he was cold & rude on this call. The next day, Wednesday, a lady called me around 5pm. She told me that our reservation is canceled. No reason as to why … it was JUST CANCELED! That put us in a frantic way; 3 days out when we arrive in Oxnard. After over 20 calls on Thursday, we finally found a place to stay; the owner bent over backwards for us. The bad thing - now my husband has to drive 77 miles one way to work. If you are ever in the Oxnard CA area, DO NOT and I mean DO NOT reserve at Evergreen RV Park. They are the worse on customer service! And you will find that they will cancel on you a few days from the date you are to arrive!

We stayed here on our way up the coast. It is a park mostly made up of full-timers but they did have spots open. The price was fine and the park is clean. Note that the active train tracks are a few blocks away but that the sound isn’t bad. There’s also a busy fire station about a block away. Our only real issue was trying to use the showers which are listed as open from 9am - 9pm. The only one that was operating was locked at 8:00pm and required a call to the night number. The person answering said, “They’re closed” and I said that it wasn’t 9:00pm yet, so someone came down to open it. He said, “We thought your rig had a shower in it?” - like using their hot water was unreasonable. Just make sure to check your expectations when staying here.

We made our reservation several weeks in advance and gave them a credit card. We called 11 days before our stay to shorten our stay by two days. The woman in charge told us “oops we don’t have room for you, sorry. “ We can’t find another acceptable place so our trip is cancelled. Lousy business practice. What if we had just come when we reserved? Don’t trust them!

We had an awful experience! Would not recommend to anyone! My husband and I booked reservations as we were going to be in the area for work. We have been full time RVers for the past three years and have never been treated so poorly in our lives! We were called a day prior to our check in date and told that they would have a site available for us a week later, but we were already day 3 into our 4 day trip to California and had had a confirmed reservation for that day and had spoken with management multiple times. Management did nothing to help us. Finally after having a second confirmed check in date, a day prior they told us that we were not a good fit, because I told them how unprofessional they handled the situation the first time, and told us we were not welcome to stay there. Leaving us stranded twice with no where to live. Also they were very hard to get a hold of and when we did we were told they were busy and they would call us back but never would.

How can I say this without being a jerk? We had a bad experience, but thought it was a nice place to stay. It was clean, safe, and the residents were great. But, management could be better at communication and problem solving. Customer service was 1-star level.
