Do not take your children here if you care at all about their health. My five year old was sick with high fevers for five days. He was seen by a PA at this urgent care who did absolutely nothing to examine him. My husband, who is in the medical field, started asking questions, at which point the PA gave a pathetic attempt at an exam, did a COVID swab, and sent us home. 24 hours later we were seen at Seattle Children's urgent care only to find out our child had a severe bilateral ear infection with a ruptured membrane on one side. Keep in mind the PA at Evergreen "examined" our child's ears and said there were no signs of infection and they were clear only 24 hours prior, which is absolutely impossible. This place is garbage.
Horrible receptionist! She doesn't know how to talk with patients. She should leave the job in the medical business and try somewhere else. I brought my child here for stitches. She didn't have the basic courtesy even to talk and wouldn’t tell me her name either, and the reason behind it was I asked if someone was around as there was no person present in the clinic. I don’t recommend this clinic at all.
Do not go here!!! Their billing is a scam. I took my daughter to have a peanut removed from her nose. The Dr that attended to us tried briefly to remove it but quickly knew she was incapable and called an ENT to consult. He told her to stop trying and send us over to him. I’m a registered nurse and I was fine with that. If I was not able to do something I would find someone to help me before harming the patient. And I don’t expect every Dr to be able to do every procedure. I would NOT however, bill the patient for a “foreign body removal”, knowing my inexperience was the reason I had to send them to someone else to get it done. I now have two bills for a foreign body removal, each costing hundreds of dollars. I understand not all surgeries and procedures are successful but it is unethical to bill someone twice because the Dr you employ is incapable and has to consult and refer the care to another Dr to do it. I’ve spoken to billing, I’ve spoken to patient relations but they won’t let me talk to anyone who actually makes a decision regarding my billing. I’ve just been told they decided not to change it. It’s unethical and their customer service process is a joke.
The urgent care physician is okay, but the billing department is like a scam. Wait more than 30 minutes on the phone and cannot reach to any people. Even if I reached the people to correct the CPT code, there has been no response for more than a month.
I had a very good experience today at the urgent care sammamish. The whole team was helpful, professional staff and doctor. Thank you all !!!!!
I had to post a review of how wonderful the urgent care staff were today when I came in with back pain. They were responsive, extremely helpful, compassionate, and just all around great. They listened to me, assessed what they could do then to treat me, and made a plan for next steps. Dr. Gupta was extremely knowledgeable and thorough; he is the kind of doctor that truly cares about the well-being of his patients and I appreciated his diligence so much. Urgent care is never a fun trip to have to make, but Dr. Gupta and his staff made the biggest difference in my day - thank you!
I was going to give a terrible review on Thursday 01/19 as the young girl I encountered said her name was Fredrina not sure of spelling had a nasty tone and even though no one was there wanted me to fill out a paper board and she acted as if I was bothering her when I asked a question. Even tho I didn’t feel well I just left due to her nasty tone. The next day Friday 01/20 my mom took me back and we were greeted so pleasantly by a woman with such a warm and welcoming tone. I briefly saw her name tag but believed it was Joan or Joann. She was also cleaning and wiping down the sign in area. When told about how I felt the other lady treated me, she apologized and assured us that is not how the office wants patients to feel. She spoke with me as she entered information into the computer. I wasn’t told to fill out a paper board and she even spoke highly about the other girl and said she was surprised as she is always pleasant, I think she was just being a team supporter tho. She also had a medical person check my oxygen and heart rate. Everyone else I encountered was so pleasant it truly makes a huge difference when you don’t feel good. The icing was as I was leaving that same woman who greeted me so warmly wished me to feel better as I was leaving and even tho everyone wears a mask, I could see through their brightness in their eyes and warming tone they were smiling! They all should get raises for the way they made me feel!! Except that first young girl Fredrina or whatever her name is. I love this urgent care office now and will take any of my family there when and if they are sick.
Nothing urgent about this facility. I have had 2 bad experiences here. First of all they should not offer "appointments". They mean absolutely nothing. I made an appointment, was sent a text to arrive 10 minutes early only to find that my wait when I arrived was one hour there was no one sitting in the waiting area but they were so short staffed with only one doctor working. If I didn't sit in the office to wait, I would lose my place "in line". I understand if there is someone who has a more critical situation and needs to be seen ahead of my appointment, no problem. That leads to my second visit. I again made an appointment to get "in line". When I arrived, with a large cut to my hand, which needed 8 stitches, I was made to wait, holding my hand up to stop the bleeding until there was an opening. Again, never mind about the "appointment" or more critical case. They were offering Covid tests etc. all ahead of me getting stitches. For a much better experience, I would suggest Indigo Multi Health in the Fred Meyer shopping center. They also offer appointments but give priority to the appointments over walk-ins. They were extremely friendly and professional. This will be my go-to for "urgent" care in the future.
I received more helpful information in my visit today than I have received at my last three appointments at my standard doctors offices or the ER. Time seems to go on forever when you are anxious and want to see a doctor but all staff were kind throughout the process and I was seen very quickly. That saying “You don’t know what you don’t know” applies often to doctors appointments when you don’t know what to ask. I truly appreciate medical staff that volunteer as much information as they can no matter what the appointment. I got suggestions, information about medicines, and root cause information that I’ve never been told by primary care. THANK YOU staff at this location!
I was just at the Evergreen Urgent Care in Sammamish. I was so pleased at the care I received there. Everyone was so professional yet personable. They were very caring and understanding. They listened to me and explained what was going on and answered my concerns. My husband was with and said, “these people are rock stars”. I’m so glad to know we have such caring professionals when we needed them.
