I had an AMAZING experience!!! I highly recommend Everyday California. Firstly, I had excellent service on the phone when making my reservation. The man kindly explained all of the different activities and which ones were best for a non-swimmer like myself. He even gave me a birthday discount! All of the preparation and check-in for my surf lesson went extremely smoothly. I had the BEST time in my lesson! I was a little scared because I can’t swim but had always wanted to surf. The instructors were extremely nice, patient and fun. I wish I had gotten the name of my instructor who helped me and gave me special attention because of my hesitancy to go deeper. He stayed with me and helped guide my board, find waves, help me get situated on the board each time and gave my board a push. I even was able to stand up a couple of times! I still got to feel like I was succeeding and participating at my own level. I told my boyfriend about my experience and now we want to try to come back together for either more surfing or some kayaking before we leave! They also have a really cool store!
I did the kayaking trip and listen, this is a really great opportunity if you’re from a landlocked place or seeking adventure, and physically fit. The guides were fantastic and helped so much along the way but this is not for folks who have never kayaked before. I have been kayaking for years but never on the ocean and found this to be pretty difficult. I had an amazing time and can’t say enough for how perfect of an experience this was. I’d recommend it to anyone who has no quit, but I love quitting and I wanted to a lot. It truly is a one of a kind experience if you’re up for a slight challenge.
Connor and Phillip M were absolutely amazing! My husband and I booked the 90 minute kayak tour into the La Jolla caves and we were not disappointed. Not only were the guides knowledgeable, they kept the whole experience fun and lite. Phillip M had so many fun facts about the area, wildlife and even some fun “dad” jokes. This was an amazing time and would highly recommend to anyone coming to La Jolla! Thank you for the amazing time!
Mariano and Noah were terrific guides! I appreciated how friendly they were and the stories they told. The entire experience was certainly one we could have done on our own specifically because the day we went the water was super calm, but the friendly service certainly made it worthwhile!
This was an awesome experience. I’m a little late on my review and don’t want to say the wrong name of our guides but they are in the pictures/videos. Super helpful and friendly. It was my son’s first time kayaking and definitely an experience he won’t forget. Checking in was a breeze. We were able to rent wetsuits which were like $12 and has a locker to put our personal items in. Everyone was nice from the front desk to help with wetsuits. After changing and a small walk to the beach, we were ready. It was May, although a cloudy day, we enjoyed it. Saw jelly fish, sea lions and a shark. My son did jump in the water as I watched because the water was super cold. Definitely recommend getting the wetsuits to help with the cold.
Great experience with Jordan and Connor! My group had the speedsters, but they kept the whole group together and managed the whole trip without losing anyone. Awesome view and worth the time and money put into the tour!
This was an anniversary gift. It was my first time kayaking and something I always wanted to do. We were so happy to have had Wesley as our guide because he was absolutely amazing! He was very patient with everyone in our group. He had so much information about the reserve and he made the kayaking tour the best experience ever. We highly recommend this Everyday California kayaking tours and if you’re lucky enough, you will get Wesley as your tour guide. He really is the best!!
The Kayak tour of the sea caves with Philip M. And Mariano was amazing! Philip gave us really cool facts about the preserve and all of its beauty and the animals that live there. Mariano helped keep everyone together. They both were amazing in guiding us on this cool adventure. We got to see a Sea lion, anchovies, Camaranth birds, and pelicans. They guided us through the cave and back safely, and guided us through the ocean. We are from Florida, but if we are back in the area we would love to do this experience again!
We had a fantastic tour of the sea caves and marine reserve with tour guides Liam and Danielle today. They went at the perfect pace, explained everything so well, and gave us great information about the local wildlife and environment during the tour. Would book again in a heartbeat.
We had a great experience today 6/5 at 10am! Both of our tour guides one of which named Cormick, the other for the life of us we cannot seem to remember unfortunately, did an amazing job!! Although the weather wasn’t the best they still were sure to be upbeat, fun and safe throughout the whole tour. We had some negative nelly’s with us who weren’t super stoked about some of the conditions and complained about silly stuff instead of just focusing on the enjoyment, but we didn’t! It was seriously an awesome experience. They did inform us that a lot of tours, due to bad weather, cause for them not to be able to enter in the caves- so all those complaining about that, stop!! Its for your safety and nothing more. They do their absolute best to make it a great experience for everyone, constantly checking in and monitoring the sea levels/wave crashing, to be sure it’s safe. They went beyond and Cormick took photos of us while we waited on some of the kayakers to go in and exit the caves! The sweet other tour guide swam us all the way in and back with a smile on her face the whole time! Highly recommend to anyone visiting. Even if it’s poor wether you can still have a great time with this company!
