Hi! I'm Shelly Mead!
I'm a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) who is passionate about helping others with their health challenges especially those with autoimmune diseases. I've always been interested in health and wellness and graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1997. After spending many years researching and studying nutrition, I received my Nutritional Therapy Practitioner Certificate from the Nutritional Therapy Association in June 2017.
I work 1:1 with clients to help them with health issues such as lack of energy, sleep disturbances, weight loss, digestive problems, joint pain, and sugar cravings. I will develop a personalized plan that is unique to you and your body and support you along the way.
I also teach a group class called The RESTART® Program, a 5-week class that includes a 3-week sugar detox. In this class you'll learn how to prepare healthy meals that will boost your energy, reduce inflammation, and cut your sugar and carb cravings.
I will help you find the right foods for your body and to support you along the way. You can actually have more energy, better digestion, improved sleep, feel better, and have less joint pain. You deserve it! Some very simple shifts in your eating and daily practice can result in profound changes.
