Exceptional Movers were great. Before the move they were very responsive and sent the information I needed quickly. The quoted a fair price, stated clearly what incurs additional charges, and were flexible. They arrived on time, moved me from just outside Harrisburg to Philly, in about 4 hours total. Friendly and professional.
I can't imagine any other moving company performing better. Exceptional Movers was top-notch from beginning to end. Matt laid out all the details and fit me into his schedule right away. Cedric and Anthony killed the moving process. They moved me out of my old apartment and into my new one in a blink of an eye. Professional and courteous the whole way through. Not a trace of damage to anything. I don't even remember them taking a break. If I ever have a need for a moving company again, Exceptional Movers will be my first and only call.
I hesitated even writing a review but I will say you get what you pay for. Their quote came in much less than other moving companies, but we were on short notice and couldn’t find another company to move us the day we wanted, so we went with exceptional movers. Initially they sent a contract which I signed online, then they called to confirm the night before. They informed me they would arrive by 9:30am to do the job. They did not show up until 10:30am, after calling me shortly after 9:30 to say they would arrive “shortly”. They disassembled furniture for us and worked really hard on a hot day. We arrived to our new house and they moved in our items. They damaged our brand new front door and trim, which they offered to fix themselves and we opted against that. I was going to leave it at that and not leave a review, but in the days since moving in we have found other items we are unhappy with. Some of the screws on my sons crib were not adequately tightened, and one of the screws from our refrigerator door handle is missing, and I will need to order replacement screws to fix it. I would recommend going with another company for your move just to avoid any headaches on your move day. I do have to say the 2 gentlemen that moved us were very nice and interacted with my kids well.
I am a real customer and used Exceptional Movers twice when I needed help with the delivery of a uhaul pod from Harrisburg and the unloading of two pods that I had here in Pennsylvania at another location. They were on time, very polite, and they worked almost too hard - I couldn't get them to slow down and take a break! They completed the job thoroughly and efficiently and I will hire them again if/when I move in the future. I recommend them with no hesitations.
The best moving company by far, reasonable, punctual and very professional. So I hired this company after reviewing over 15 companies what made me hire them were the knowledgeable,and professional manner after speaking with the owner. Not only were the price reasonable they went above and beyond to make sure I understood and we're comfortable with the contract. I will recommend this moving company to anyone. Thanks Exceptional Movers!!!
