Explore the difference at the new Expedition Lodge in Moab, Utah. We are excited to offer small touches that make us a little different from the rest.

Description

We purchased the hotel in March of 2017 and immediately began an extensive gut-renovation of our rooms and lobby. Phase one of our renovation was completed by April's end and we opened the doors to 28 of our newly renovated guest rooms.

Phase two of our renovations will be complete in the winter of 2017 and will include a 70's style arcade room plus breakfast, dining and guest lounge areas.

Our hotel is under completely new ownership and management and we are proud of our new style + vibe. While most aspects have been changed, we did keep the crowd-coveted saltwater pool, hot tub and waterslide!

Just left our 3 night stay Nov 2022 and it was fantastic! We were traveling with our German Shepard and we’re looking for a pet friendly hotel, especially for big dogs. This hotel definitely fit the bill. They do not service rooms during the stay so you never have to worry if you need to leave your pup in the room for a bit. Beds were very comfortable, rooms also had a mini fridge and microwave. The price was a steal, came out to just around $100/night. Especially with the amenities they offer; Continental breakfast every morning, heated pool and jacuzzi, and free arcade. And to top it off no pet fee. Would absolutely stay here again next time we are in Moab. Great central location on Main St.
Our stay was great. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was very clean and the decor was really nice. I like that the room didn't have carpeting, there's no way a place could keep carpet clean in Moab...so much sand and red dirt. I didn't use the heated pool but people seemed to enjoy it. The breakfast was top notch, great before heading out on adventures. I will for sure stay here again. Oh yes, they are pet friendly and don't charge a pet fee, this is another wonderful plus.
Stayed 2 nights and was very pleased with everything. Very clean and comfortable. Pool and slide was the kids favorite. Nice rooms. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect location.
Absolutely loved this place. Best price and cutest amenities. I loved the little Frigidaires and the paintings in the rooms. The ping pong table was an added bonus and the pool was nice and refreshing. The staff were excellent. I had a wonderful time staying here and would definitely only stay here on my next visit to Moab.
This place was absolutely disgusting they literally have cockroach’s however we didn’t notice this until the next day after we had already spent the night it was a nightmare as soon as we noticed them we packed up everything and left and talked to the lady at the front desk she was very understanding and kind about it was not rude at all she said that she would let her manager know that we would be canceling our reservation and she would ask her if we could get a refund once we went back to talk to the manager she was very short rude and said that she will only refund us half our stay and you can tell that they have no interest in fixing this problem because she was very dismissive to everything we said until we said well we have pictures of them inside of the room because she kept on saying oh they don’t go inside the room they are only ever outside the door which is obviously not true because why else would they be inside of the room ? So she knows and obviously doesn’t care to fix this infestation maybe they don’t have money to hire a pest control company I don’t know what’s happening but regardless they should be shutting down their hotel fixing the problem before they charge people to stay in their hotel It’s disgusting and we paid good money to stay there it’s not like they’re charging a super cheap price I have never experienced this in any stay anywhere I’ve been to many places what really got me is that the pictures of the place are really nice even getting there it’s really nice obviously there’s some little things that are not perfect but nowhere can be perfect except if you stay at the Radcliffe which is exactly what we did after we left the cockroach expedition hotel they were perfect their hotel is perfect absolutely clean comfortable highly recommend them
Very clean and decorated in 50's or 60's decor. Would definitely stay there again. Breakfast has a nice selection. Glad it was recommended by a manager from another hotel.
We didn't actually get to stay here because of flight cancellations and delays, but they were very considerate of the situation that we found ourselves in. They were happy to refund our money when we weren't able to make it. If I ever travel back to the area, I will 100% book with them based off the wonderful customer service we experienced.
I couldn't make my stay at Expedition last night and tonight, and they were SOOOO KIND to allow me to cancel it free of charge though I contacted them quite latelast night/this morning. I will definitely stay with them if I ever come back! And will recommend it to friends!
Great location on Main Street of Moab, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. 10 mints drive to Arches National Park. This place have very nice room set up for family of 6, also they are very pet friendly! No pet fee and you can leave pet in the room when you go to restaurants! Super great choice to stay, if you come to Moab, highly recommend this place to your family!
I had some wonderful experiences with the staff, Joe, and the manager, Christy Melo. Our family had to reschedule our stay. I understand it was not easy to accommodate such a request on short notice. But Joe and Christy acted promptly, and really showed a customer service-oriented attitude. They used creative problem-solving skills and offered me an option that fit my family's needs perfectly, and didn't add any hassle to our trip. For that, we can't say Thanks enough to them. I hope the hotel management team/owner can see this message, and appreciate the wonderful job Joe and Christy performed as we did!
