Express Stop Gas Station

Gas station has gone down hill since they repaired the asphalt in the rear of the station. The car wash as of 2/18/19 is permanently out of order. They now force cars to come in from the front of the gas station facing Old Keene Mill. This results people doing illegal u-turns from the nearby intersection. This also causes traffic backup on westbound Old Keene Mill Road. Avoid this gas station at all costs! TLDR: Gas station is a metaphorical dumpster fire. 2022: Still a dumpster fire of a gas station. Causes multiple near accidents often. Traffic still overflows onto the main road Old Keene Mill Rd on a regular basis blocking the right lane. Also a very disability unfriendly gas station since the front spaces are blocked by cones and a detached plow. The car wash is apparently working again....I guess. ‍

This is the only car wash I use because it is touch-less but the other day the machine only sprayed water since the soap ran out. I told the employee about it and asked for another proper car wash that had soap in it. The worker said he couldnt do anything because the “manager” wasnt working. Not worth the money dont waste your time. Also to add on the employee said “the manager only works night shift” so gluck with a refund.

Disaster area. Terrible car wash, it doesnt wash! spray soap and water on then thats it. Dry not even complete dry. This place need to shut down.

The lady in front of me went to the first pump, leaving the second open. I drove around to the second pump and it said “pump stopped”. The miserable person at the register said he wouldn’t sell me gas because it’s a “one way” gas station. I never heard of a “one way” but I’m sure they have heard of a one star review. It looks like I’m not the first, and I’m sure I won’t be the last. I’ll be going elsewhere for gas and car washes.

I always drive by this place and think whatthe! as I strugggle to pass cars waiting to turn into the station. Lol Today was my first time here and it was not as bad as some people made it out to be. This isn't the 1st station that has one-way traffic. It is unfortunate they're at the corner of a busy intersection, and can impact traffic on Old Keene, but it's definitely better than having people from opposing traffic fight to get in/out. Prices are a few cents cheaper so that's nice. Fill up and drive off in one general direction as other drivers... it's too easy.

Force cars to come in one way - from the relatively busy Old Keene Mill, instead of the relatively safe neighborhood street. If you come in the wrong way and make it to a pump, the attendant will turn off the pumps like a game of whack a mole as you try to fill up at each one. Didn’t take a pic but I saw one guy with the gas line strapped all the way around to the far side of his car. I will never go to this gas station. Shame - just moved two blocks away. That’s something like $40,000 they just lost off me. Price of bad business. RE the response: Well there you have it - the owner of this gas station won't miss your business. By contrast, pic 2 shows the "forbidden" other entrance on Torrence street, and all the empty space there. Maximizing profits at the expense of customer convenience and neighborhood safety is thoroughly un-American, if nothing else. Speaking of convenience - to the owner, it's actually really convenient for me to keep coming by on foot, day after day, taking a nice long look at all the self-serving thoughtless business practices you have in place. I'm happy to do it! :

Don't pay for car wash when you buy gas. No soap from machine. And casher knew it but no repair and/turn off. He didn't want people kept paying for car wash.

Best prices in Burke and West Springfield. Love the updates they made to the traffic pattern. My go to for gas

Best prices in the area for sure. I don't mind the one-direction drive in for the pumps. If you do, don't come! That'll be one less person I have to wait on. I only wish I lived closer!!!

Horrible customer service and manager is incompetent. I’ve been coming to this place for more than five years. The gas is cheap and the quality is fine. However, if you need anything at all the staff is horrendous. I’ve seen many people ask them for help all with the same results… Frustration. Today I had my own experience. I just got my car washed, and the wash did nothing except spray water all over it. I went back and asked the manager if he could let me run the car through again… Welcoming him to look at my car. He explicitly told me not to expect his car wash to make my car clean!. He went on to say that if I wanted to car to be clean, to go to the Shell gas station and get it washed there! I hope that guy was the owner, because if he’s not, the owner should fire him for having no sense of customer support, and satisfaction.
