Express Way

On 3/10/23 my husband and I stopped here to refuel and walk the dog. As I sat in the truck, I heard a horrible sound as my husband slipped and fell on the ice. He was flat on his back after hitting his head on the ground. I checked on him and he was not conscious and was making gurgling sounds. I raced into the store asked someone to call 911 for me quicker than getting to my for my phone. Ashley was the one who called and stayed on the line with them. Steve, my husband, had gotten to his knees. He refused to stay put as I told him to not to move he is on blood thinners but he was confused and continued to move. Bystanders came to help but kept trying to get him up off the cold ground as I was telling him to stay. Ashley relayed everything the dispatcher was telling her what to do but frustrated her because the people trying to help were not listening to her when she told them not to move him. Paramedics arrived and the the ambulance soon after. He was taken to a nearby hospital and after tests needed to go to Mayo Clinic in Rochester ASAP. Helicopter was not possible due to weather so he went by ambulance in a snowstorm. Steve suffered two brain bleeds he is on blood thinners and we were told he would need brain surgery. Fortunately, the bleeding stabilized and he avoided surgery. Ashley was a godsend. She quickly got Steve the help he desperately needed. She brought him gloves and a hat as we didn’t pack them. Ashley told me to keep her updated which I did just this morning. She said she was worried all night and was relieved to hear the news. I will forever be grateful to Ashley and won’t forget all she did for 2 old fogies in their time of need. Thank you Ashley

Our bus with 40 teenagers broke down and we stayed in this gas station for 10 hours waiting for a new bus. The staff was extremely accommodating and fantastic.

Very bad customer service worker don't know how to run register at all employees rise there voices I will very stop here again. I repaid gas for 25 and only got 15.41 change back and been here a half with bad attitude

Nice place ....fresh good chicken made to order ...open 24 hrs....lots of big truck parking
