The guy at the front desk was so nice and welcoming. He made me laugh numerous of times, which I appreciate since I wasn’t feeling well. I was called back in less than 5min. Saw a doctor right away and was out the door in less than 10min. Definitely was an express care! Keep up the great work and i appreciate everything you all do for us and the community. God bless you all.
Start to finish bad experience. Only positive thing I can say is that they are open a hour later than Patient First. Bottom line up front: if you can’t get to Patient First before they close, I would just go directly to an ER if you are seeking urgent care and can get to your PCP or a specialist. I walked in and there is a large desk with two women seated at it. The person in front of me is helped and walked to the restroom for a urine sample. I stand there and wait to be addressed. Turns out there is a small kiosk that they use for check in, away from the desk. And the 2-3 minutes that I stood there were pointless because the woman at the desk only acknowledged my presence after I broke the what I found to be awkward silence of me standing in front of her without her even saying hello how can I help, since the other woman was helping the first customer to the restroom. I was taken to an exam room where vitals were taken and I was asked my prescriptions. I gave them and they were written down on a note pad. Not a computer in sight and it’s 2023. After 30 minutes I was seen by a VERY unpleasant nurse. Who immediately after I explained my symptoms asked me “so what do you want me to do?” She sent in the person who took vitals twice after for me to spell out the names of the prescriptions that I take, so that she could re-write them in the note pad. After all of this, a few minutes later she sends in a different woman who hands me a discharge paper. I ask “what am I to do with this?” And the response was “it’s a discharge paper. I don’t know what she wrote. Let me see” The discharge paper was a single sheet that said recommended for the ER. The staff expect the nurse were pleasant enough and seemed to be doing their jobs to the best of their abilities with the equipment they were provided. However I would have appreciated a better interaction with the nurse, who seemed to be very interested me someone who doesn’t have any medical training proposing solutions, and rudely telling me I should be seeing my primary care physician, as if it wasn’t Saturday night. Clearly if that were an option I would have taken it! Never again!
The staff of care givers are excellent, caring professionals! Only one doctor seeing many patients. Though the staff are season experts, Express care is very limited in workers and equipment. We had to leave one location to go to another to get an xray. Sad. I've not received any report of that xray as I was told I would!! Don't over extend your Doctors with work! That is when things can go wrong.
I came to this establishment twice. Terrible experience both times. The 2 stars are for the front desk male who assisted me on visit #1. He was courteous and although I could tell it had been a long day he was still professional and very helpful. If it were up to him alone he would have 5 stars. The people in the back were rude, disgruntled and lied to me! The African lady told me me my son who was burning with a fever was fine and his temp was 98.5. I informed her that the technician didn't actually take his temperature to which she insisted otherwise. I had to insist and when she finally took it it was 101.5. My son is only 2 years old! They were going to let us walk out with a sick child who had Strep throat just because it was late? Then visit #2. Was for me. I walked in at 8:56pm hopeful that I would be seen but prepared to be turned away. The Black female technician that finally walked out after 9pm was aggressive, rude and wholly unprofessional. As a black female I was embarrassed by her behavior & embarrassed for her. I knew and understood that I arrived close to closing time but I showed no aggression nor gave her any justification to speak and behave in that manner. Then she also lied stating that I had just walked in at 9pm. I attempted to correct her while still walking away to no avail. Twice in one week. This place is supposed to be a place for CARE. They need to restaff with professionals who actually like their job & are proficient. There is a way to turn away patients, there is a proper way to speak to people in a business environment.
A big "thank you" to everyone!!! You guys are simply the best. I would definitely recommend your establishment to any and everyone... hands-down simply the best, outstanding customer service. It's EPIC‼
Brought my son recently for suspected strep throat, after several past positive experiences for issues such as illness, injury, and moderate allergic reactions. This location has polite and pleasant staff, and the care was prompt and effective, which is especially appreciated for a sick child. Thank you! I typically make an appointment, even if it’s just an hour in advance, and do paperwork online ahead of time to speed up the appointment. I‘ve only had to wait any significant length of time once, on a very busy day.
This has always been our go-to for urgent care for our family, however apparently they don't see children anymore. My 9 year old was in obvious pain, and after registering and waiting, they said they couldn't see him. They have seen him for years, and did not communicate this upon registration, but apparently the provider refuses to see children under 12. Not ok.
Rude and racist! I brought my young black son in for an injury. The white front desk employee by the name of Doug said, “tell him to stop fighting.” We happened to get called to the back because we were in the waiting room for a while since Doug was no where to be found to check us in. Once in a room I had to return to get checked back in& that’s when he made the comments. I had not explained the reason why we were at urgent care yet. I asked him what would make him think my son was there for fighting? I can guarantee he wouldn’t have said that to a white mother. He was rude, tacky and his comments were distasteful. My son was actually there related to a sports injury.
My visit at Urgent Care was a good experience. Stephanie was very courteous and helpful, she went out of her way to help me. I really appreciate her!. The nurse attending to me was very professional and pleasant . Dr Nsubuga was extremely patient, knowledgeable and kind. The staff was very nice.
Came here for a “Rapid” COVID TEST and it took 3 hrs if you don’t mind waiting and have nothing else to do then this is for you if your in a hurry find somewhere else to go. Staffing is a issue at this location. They even have a help wanted sign for Doctors in the lobby. Update: 3 and /2 hrs later still not seen for a simple COVID test. Went back in and found a picture stating they are not taking any more patients. All I asked was more communication from the staff so that we can choose another facility and got nothing but attitude from the receptionist with the manager sitting not saying anything. Do not make this your chose for your health care needs the Name Express is very misleading.
