Nathan was amazing! He did a spectacular job with explaining his knowledge of the company. He really took the time to show me several units available and helped me find the perfect one that was best suitable for me and my needs. He was very informative and thorough with everything involved in the process. From the moment I walked in the door seeing Chelsea's friendly face to interacting with Nathan made for a great experience. The business is well kept and organized and the units/hallways were very clean. I felt comfortable and safe in my surroundings and I am confident I made the right choice in choosing this place for storage.
I reserved a unit here online, and the process couldn't have been easier. The following day I also received a call from the manager/owner, Nathan, to make sure I was satisfied with the unit and had no questions or concerns. Great customer service! When I made it to the facility to view the unit, Nathan was on the lot doing another task but took the time to walk with me to the unit and give me some tips on moving my stuff in. Enough about the awesome customer service experience although it is rare these days. The facility has inside and outside units and both areas are super clean. It is gated and a code is needed to enter the lot, enter the building where the inside units are, and then again as you leave. The units also come with a cylinder lock which is more secure than the normal round lock I've used in the past. Overall, I feel my items are safe here, and I'm more than happy with the facility.
I hadn't been able to get to my storage unit for 2 years and because it is climate controlled everything inside was great. Everything was exactly as I packed it. The price had risen 3 times and the manager lowered by price a bit until I can move into a home. He is friendly and helpful. I feel relieved my belongings are safe at Extra Space Storage!
Definitely the best storage space rental experience we've had. The location manager Nate does a great job of explaining everything you need to do and walks you through setting up your account. Not only does Nate keep the buildings clean inside, he does his best to keep the outside areas looking good too. Whenever we're there and Nate's there, he'll always ask how we're doing, if we need any help, and what would improve our experience with Extra Space Storage.
When I first began renting from Extra Space Storage, things went well. Rate stayed consistent for the first 9 months. Then my unit was broken into as well as many others. I asked that they add additional cameras to cover the back on the property and to raise the fence to the same height as the front drive through gate fence. Was not done. Then damage to my unit/items from a careless driver in an oversized truck 3 months later, on top of a rate increase. They did reduce my rate back to what I had been paying after I objected given what I had been through. Again, no security improvements were made. Some time later they did add some additional cameras but left everything else the same, as well as increasing my rate two more times. Then as of 5 days ago, their facility was broken into again with multiple units vandalized and items stolen, my unit among them. So while the attendants/managers are nice/helpful, the owner or overall company cares little about the security of their properties and yours and you are largely left to either using their insurance or your own if you seek compensation which never covers the hassle and frustration. All in all, crime in the area is increasing and Extra Space Storage chooses to not to improve its security as a response after 3 years of informing them they need to. Fun fact, while criminals can come and go as they please, you will be locked out after 10 pm. Do not recommend based on the lack of security and response from the company.
Recently wanted to move to a larger unit within the same facility here at Extra Space Storage in Fort Mill/Tega Cay, and as usual, Nathan went above and beyond to assist and ensure my transition was seamless! We communicated in advance, then day-of, he thoroughly walked me through the entire process and provided a breakdown of the billing. This level of communication and transparency, not to mention personal service, is a rare thing these days and is much appreciated! It should be mentioned that this was all in between assisting another patron in using ratchet straps to secure an item in their trailer. Hats off to Nathan and his day-to-day diligent management to make this facility top-notch!
Nathan is awesome! This has been a rough time for me and he did everything possible to help me keep my stuff as long as I held up my end of my deal. He was patient and thorough. I would recommend this location for sure
Rick gave me a call this morning after signing up online. Super professional and eager to answer any questions I may have. We will be stopping in today for the first time and he is warming around coming into the office and saying hello. Great experience so far
Al, gave me excellent customer service at the Rock Hill location. I would definitely recommend anyone put there items in this storage location. Thank you again for everything. At a time like this it’s nice to know businesses still value great customer service.
Service is great! Wish I knew the guys name at the front counter but he is very friendly and informative. Good quality units to fit any need at affordable rates. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
