We had a fantastic time on the river with our guide Lisa. She was the best! Very friendly and fun to talk with. She brought us to a rope to swing from into the river. Great time.

Great laid back experience, our guides Shawn and Tori were amazing, they provided help and made the entire process safe, fun and hilarious. Just a down to earth experience over all, going back soon. We chose this place because the one we first went with last year was all booked up and boy are we happy they were, this is the one to go with 100%!

Highly recommend!!!!Had a fun memorable whitewater rafting trip. Our amazing guide Shawn was knowledgeable and with us in his kayak the whole time. Kudos to Lisa, the dock side who helped as well

Ian and Buddy were awesome. I will admit we were a bit turned off when we arrived at the parking lot.get what you pay for feeling.. They were the cheapest we'd seen.. but all that went out the door once we arrived in Jim Thorpe and met our River Guides. Ian and Buddy gave us an awesome experience on the river. Helped us navigate the river with ease. The experience was worth so much more the the prices charged! The water was great. It was great exiting the rafts and being at our car... No bus trip in wet clothes to get back to our car! Can't wait for our next trip up there....will recommend this place to everyone!!

Just finished a damn release day with Extreme Adventure Travel Outfitters and had an awesome day! Our tour guides were Jamie and Sean who were both outstanding and went above and beyond! Sean took pictures of us rafting throughout the day and has already emailed them to us! Took 10 girls to celebrate our daughters sweet sixteen and had a blast! So happy we went with them! They are a much smaller tour company then the others and we received very personalized attention and we were able to take the day at our own pace. We had a great day rafting and swimming and hanging out at lunch! The shuttle was a super easy 10 min ride up the river with no wait and the rafting finished at our cars with changing areas so super easy! Highly recommend them.

Excellent experience! I contacted the company and spoke primarily with Aaron. We were trying to put together an employee reward day for around 50 people and Aaron was very accommodating with our needs. The group had a fantastic time! Highly recommend for business/corporate trips!

BEWARE! This company is in Partnership with Poco Bike Rentals. They do not show up to your planned and Payed adventures biking or rafting. I was stood up today with a Group of 7. 2 adults,5 kids. They never showed up for the bike shuttle. No call, no text. They didn’t even answer my calls and texts when I reached out to see why they never arrived at the designated pick up spot. I have my bank looking into the validity of this company. There are so many other companies in the Poconos. Stay away from Extreme outdoor adventure Outfitters. This place takes your money and doesn’t answer your calls. They are like a timeshare! Party of Seven...We had a great time. Aaron and his wife was very friendly. Excellent host. Came across a lot of rapids. Booking another trip before the end of summer. Worth the price.

I booked a last minute trip for my fiancés birthday from upstate NY. This morning as we put the directions from our hotel in PA which was 45 minutes away from Extreme adventure… torrential down pouring rain, thunder, and lighting started. It was dangerous on the roads. We couldn’t even see Infront if us. I called the business to talk to someone about whether or not the white water rafting was still going to happen at noon. The man who picked up responded to me telling him about the dangerous driving conditions with “it’s not lighting here.” He then said that he would not provide any type of refund. I then asked if we could reschedule to another day when the roads and weather conditions were safer… he said that we could not. We proceeded to try and drive to this venue and within 5 minutes.. torrential down pour started and we could not see Infront of us. We ended up hitting a median in the middle of the road because there was no visibility to see the lanes…with 3 feet of vision Infront of us. We called obviously upset, got hung up after being put on hold the 2nd time. I’ve never experienced the greediness of a business who didn’t care about the well being of customers who paid for this trip. Do not spend your money on a business that does not care about the safety of its customers.
