Here's a little info about me!
My name is Cindy Boudreaux and I am the owner of Eyebrow Artistry. I've been an esthetician since 2007 when I graduated from Aveda Institute in New Orleans. After graduating I worked for the largest cosmetic laser company in the United States until 2014. I currently work for another cosmetic laser center and in 2016 decided to add Microblading to my available services. I trained for Microbalding with Deluxe Brows a world renowned company for Microblading training.
What is Microblading?
Microblading (or eyebrow embroidery) is a relatively new to the U.S but is insanely popular in Europe, manual method and is considered to be semi-permanent, as compared to the traditional permanent makeup done by a machine. It is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. The color is closer to the surface so the strokes appear crisp and very fine.
We get these crisp strokes by using a "blade" which is really several super thin disposable needles. The blade glides with gentle pressure over the skin and causes a fine "paper cut" type cut so you can hardly distinguish it from real hair. This technique is virtually painless unlike traditional tattooed makeup that is done with a machine.
With proper after care your new brows can last anywhere from 6 months- 2 years!
