I got a piece of metal stuck in my eye and Eye Care of the Valley fit me into their very busy schedule and removed it quickly and painlessly. They were very professional, and courteous. I highly recommend them.
My brother has some health issues that means he needs a transport for appointments. The arm broke on his glasses and we tried several places before calling Eyecare. Most wouldn't even look at them since we didn't purchase them there. All of the staff at Eyecare were extremely nice and said they would see if they could help us. Stephanie, the optometrist, tried different things and she was able to "macgyver" the glasses. She is amazing!! Thank you all for responding to my family's emergency. I'm definitely going back and would recommend them.
Staff is friendly, but, I took my mother in law specifically because the website says they accept Medicare/ Medicare. When we get there we are told they do not accept Medicare/ Medicaid. To say the least it was frustrating. We had to make the appointment, pick up my 84 year old mother in law and bring her to the appointment, to only to have to take her home without an exam.
Don’t go here if you’re human and make any mistakes. The women at the front desk are unable to hide their disdain for any minor inconvenience ex: having to hand you a clip board because you didn’t receive any forms to complete beforehand and don’t even wait for you to leave the lobby before they talk about you to each other.
Ive tried making 2 separate appointments. Both times the doctor was 20+ mintues late on my appointment. No explanations, the receptionists just sit there ignorant of the fact that you're waiting. My time is worth something too. Why make appointments if you can't keep them? To waste people's time? Also, the receptionist has a nasty attitude and talks to people like trash on the phone. Stay away from this place. I'd give 0 stars if I could.
I just wanted to make a few comments on the care that I have received by Dr. Pike. I have been a patient of Dr. Pike for over ten years and have found her care to be professional and personalized. I never had a long waiting time before my appointment nor ever felt rushed. I have found her care to be superb and have recommended her to friends and associates who also have been pleased. Doreen
My wife and I have been going to Eye Care of the Valley for the last five years three years in the Pennsburg office, and two years in Emmaus. Every doctor and staff member we have interacted with has been extremely helpful and friendly.
I went here for my eye exam which was way overdue. The doctor actually found a sliver of metal in my eye that he promptly removed for me. He then did what he could of my tests and felt it better for me to return in a week after the eye heals for better results. Very professional and on his game. I will continue to use them, they are a class operation.
I am returning to this practice for the 3rd time to get my prescription correct. I was told the second time I went that my glass material must be cheap and the problem. I had the lenses replaced and I still cannot see! Now I’m going to see Dr. Cook, and hopefully have this rectified. The receptionist is rude, and very off putting. I doubt very much that I will be returning, especially if I have to deal with the receptionist again.
They are amazing! I am happy with my very thorough exam to the help chosing and receiving my new glasses that are right for me. Great service remains despite a pandemic. Thank you Eye Care of the Valley!
