I loved Dr Camille he has now retired . This office has gone straight downhill. I met with an associate who was extremely unhealthy/ overweight in appearance behind a mask no real connection...secretary is extremely nasty and rude ..so money hungry and questioned me at length about everything except my colon. I waited 2 months for this appointment paid $85 Co pay, my insurance charged blue cross it wasn't enough money for them so they want to charge me 110 dollars for this dysfunctional 10 minute appointment! I finally canceled my colonoscopy because that woman was even more rude on the phone! They don't deserve any money at this point . Dr's work for us take your business elsewhere! Such a horrid experience overall!
I'd like to preface this by saying that I try to never complain about others and that I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt in every situation. I believe this is my first time writing a negative review on a public forum because I am typically too kind and forgiving...but as I'm about to pay the 150 office bill that sits in front of me, instead of writing "1 star would be generous," I wanted to write a small yet transparent and honest review about my experiences at this office. Without going into detail, I had an ongoing issue for approximately 8 months. We're talking over a half of a year of countless sleepless nights, frustration, stress, anxiety, and sheer torture from the symptoms I was experiencing for the first time in my life. I was seen twice at this office initial and check up appointments at month 6 and 8 of my issue...I waited this long because I was originally "embarrassed" to make my first appointment who isn't? thinking the symptoms would go away on their own.....they didn't. After dealing with the extraordinarily rude receptionist during both visits, the only advice the doctor had for me was to wait it out. No medications, no ointments, no suggestions, no guidance, nothing. After ruling out allergy I changed EVERYTHING in my home and diet, I was told, "Time is the only way to heal what you're experiencing." Time...after 8 months had passed without any sign of lessening symptoms. After my last visit and 8 months of dealing with what I would refer to as the worst thing I had experienced in regards to my health to date, I desperately contacted my PCP who suggested Lotrimin. Lotrimin is an $8.50 OTC ointment sold at any and every pharmacy. I'm absolutely thrilled to say that my issue was almost completely relieved in 2 days and I have been symptom free for 2 weeks today. Turns out what I had was fungal and time would have never gotten rid of it. This office was an absolute waste of time and money, caused nothing but more frustration, and I wish I would've gotten a second opinion immediately. PS Thank God my colonoscopy got cancelled.
