Fantastic cowboy western outfitter store in one of the most beautiful towns I’ve ever visited. I bought my first cowboy hat at this location, and let me tell you, it was hard considering the massive selection they have. There’s a custom hat booth towards the back corner on the left as you enter the store. Then the wall goes all the way down to the other end showcasing an impressive collection of other cowboy hats and boots to pick from. The prices are great as well, not too expensive when you compare their prices to a place like Cavendar’s Boot City. They also have touristy gifts and items as well along with a display case offering knives, belt buckles and other leather goods. This place is definitely worth stopping by if you’ve never been before.
Followed the signs all across Colorado and we felt like we just HAD to stop! The store was INCREDIBLE! We need one in New Jersey! I ended up finding the cutest child’s belt with a belt buckle. The belt buckle has a revolver on it and the barrel moves! I bought this for my grandson who turned 1 this week! Yesterday was the party and it turned out to be a huge hit! My son said it was the best gift my grandson got. Now I want to give my grandson a belt buckle every year until his 18th birthday but FM Light is in Colorado. I guess I’ll have to make an annual pilgrimage! Super interesting store! You will not be disappointed!
I had a wonderful experience at FM Light. I haven’t been in for years but I stopped by and Shawn was fantastic! She spent the time to fit me for the right size and style hat and even managed to find me multiple options of women’s size 11 boots! I’ll definitely be back
Disappointing after the hype of miles and miles of billboards leading the way to town. Mostly oriented toward low-end tourist merchandise. The hat selection was definitely the lower end of the spectrum and lacking in quality. There appeared to be a wide selection of boots, though. The rest of the store was dedicated to the tourist crowd. We needed to visit after seeing all the signs, but we don't need to go back.
They’re signs are an accurate representation of their inventory 2000 boots, hats, hats, hats, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. The prices were very reasonable. It was worth stopping for.
Perfect place to get ready for the rodeo. High quality western wear!
I enjoyed this shop very much. The products they carry are right up my alley. Western gear, good boot selection, belts, toys, and everything I'd hope to get there. Great customer service, easy to access, and the store was clean too!
Love this place. Good prices for this area, very reasonable
Completely destroyed my custom hat. Totally wrong saggy shape! Don’t buy or get hat shaped here if you like your hat.
I hate to come down on small business, but yellow sign after yellow sign on US40 advertising FM Light led me to believe this store would be a unparalleled Western shopping destination! Given all those signs, I was prepared and excited to find myself a nice pair boots. Once I finally parked and walked to the store, I had actually wondered if I was at the right place because this store is small. Unfortunately, the boot shelf did not have my size — at least I couldn’t find it if they had it. Didn’t seem to be anyone around to ask either. But looks like a great place to find a hat if that’s what you’re after!
