Fabric Chicks Creative Oasis

If you love fun fabrics, then this is a fun place to be... it's jam packed with goodies and expert staff. Why only 4 stars? If you are disabled in any way, it may be difficult to move around in the store and it's "secret" mini rooms full of even more fabric!!! Lol

Great selection! I visited from TN while vacationing . The store is eclectic and fun to shop in with rooms each with their own personality. The shop owner is as sweet and awesome as a best friend. Does beautiful quilting and is helpful in finding just the right fabric for any project. So glad we were able to find this shop whike visiting.

I’m going to be the one to say it… While the community of Gardnerville may be thoroughly embarrassed by this monstrosity, the Pink Panther would be proud I suppose.

Great fabrics for quilting and sewing projects, bags, totes, children's clothing and more! They have a large selection of fabrics from many suppliers and patterns and notions and gifts and more! Classes are available and also professional long arm machine quilting for your finished tops! The staff is super helpful too! Its fun too just look at all the samples that are placed all around the large shop! A must visit shop!

They have moved to a nice two story Yellow house that you can't miss. 1511 Highway 395n, Gardnerville NV. Older Pic, but this is their new location.

I really love this store. The sales people are kind and helpful, and they have way too much fabric that I would love to purchase. The problem is the sales person, a young gentleman that rang me up did not have a mask on. Seeing as they cater mainly to older individuals, I believe it is imperative that they keep us as safe as possible, especially if they want to keep customers. It makes me sad that they don’t care enough about me and my cohorts. I guess I will have to do all my shopping online.

I visited fabric chicks today and received excellent customer service from the owner and her daughter. They both went out of their way to help me. The fabrics are beautiful & very high quality. I will recommend Fabric Chicks to all of my quilting friends!

Beth has one of the best quilt shops in Gardnerville, Nevada. Sew very colorful and very friendly staff.

The fabrics at Fabric Chicks are more exciting than any other store I have ever shopped in. I always find what I'm looking for and MORE! The staff are very helpful and take their time with you. I never feel rushed out. The atmosphere is wide open, large assortment, and filled with excitement!

Well worth the drive, best selection in the area. Very friendly, very helpful. Great selection of classes. Check before going because they do a lot of shows. Could easily spend 3 to 4 hours in there. Wonderful place! However, if you're in a hurry or even a decent time for getting a quilt quilted, might want to think. My class was end of September 2017. It's a wall hanging size, one of those applique quilts where you take flowers, etc, and turn them into animals or other things. I made an owl. I called today and her daughter answered. She said through her daughter that she's been busy at shows. There are 2 custom quilts ahead of me and then it can get done. She projects Thanksgiving week!!!!! I really wish I could give 2 ratings. One for the amazing store and one for the customer service /quilting service.
