Fair Hill International

We went to Maryland Five Star Equestrian Competition and it is a spectacular eventing location. Loads of parking on both sides of the road with shuttles to assist those needing assistance getting to the venue. There were quite few options for food and drinks. One great thing about this event in particular is that they take lessons learned from previous events and improve subsequent events. If you like watching equestrian events then it is worth the drive to come see one here!

Great place to take a walk and at night the stars are wonderful. Lots of open space!

Unacceptable to finger point and lay blame elsewhere in the handling of the winnings for the 2017 Fair Hill International winner. Do the right thing and give O'Hanlon the flight already. How can an organization claim to be international and then claw back a prize for nationals only. Other organizations do it right like Rolex that clearly indicate that only US riders will win the sponsor prize, in this case, a Land Rover lease. Yours did not. What a PR nightmare. Do the RIGHT and honourable thing and pony up and get together with USEF and The Dutta Corp and give two flights if need be and right this terrible wrong. This mistake involves ALL 3 parties. Do NOT blame the announcer, those kind of mistakes only takes minutes to correct not weeks. It is unfathomable that it's taking this long for SOMEONE to step up. Have some decency and integrity. How can you possible even think about hosting future 4 star events when you're being mealy mouthed and reneging on prizes. Stop being GRINCHY and do the right thing for the love of god. Be accountable. Merry Christmas and may the spirit of the holidays find you and guide you to do the right thing.
