This is the premier outdoor park and sports facility in the Sunnyvale, Mountain View, and Santa Clara area. This brand new facility has a huge playground, picnic tables and barbecue, baseball fields, soccer fields, public restrooms, and a very safe enclosed area to go with your family. The entire play area has soft, rubberized flooring so you can rest a little easy, knowing that your family will be safe playing around. The facility is well-maintained and cleaned so it is pretty sanitized. The play area is enclosed by a gate with minimal entrances so it is also very secure. The facility also has many different sports areas. There’s a large parking lot and public restrooms. The park is located directly off of Fair Oaks Avenue. This corridor is policed regularly so you should also feel safe. This park is very popular because of how new it is and how nice the facilities are. This means it can get crowded sometimes during busy weekends. Other than this, I recommend going to the park because it is one of the best in the area. Playground: Amazing modern playground and safe due to rubber flooring Restrooms: Clean facilities and nearby the park Picnic area: Many tables and several barbecue spots
The renovated park is very nice with basketball courts, football, baseball and softball fields, skateboarding park, in addition to multiple playgrounds for children of all ages. The magical bridge playground is fantastic and the magical fountain is very nice. Although the park was a little bit crowded during mid-day in the weekend, there are place for every kid to play and enjoy. The parking lot is limited though.
Since this park reopened, it has always been a pleasure doing my morning and evening walk and watching players play here in this very nice park. Lately, I haven't really felt safe going there daily, especially during weekends. There are always people partying, drinking with very loud sound systems & alcohol bottles & other garbage everywhere. Restrooms are always dirty, and no toilet paper and hand soap are available. I wish this would reach the city park administrator and be addressed soon. Playground: It is nice and perfect for kids. Restrooms: Restrooms are oftentimes no toilet paper available. No hand soap provided at all. Dog-friendliness: I love that there is an area exclusive for dogs Picnic area: Clogged with people partying, very loud music and garbage everywhere. I'm not sure if the vendors are allowed to position & sell there.
Really nice place after rebuilding with 3 basketball courts, 3 football fields, a small playground for little kids, small fountain facility, slides, swing, and other facilities with much more fun for kids! The parking lot is limited, while you may choose the other parking lot which is next to the school is also close to the playground. The bathroom is quite new and clean.
The reviews and Facebook articles don't lie. This playground is awesome! Fully accessible to everyone, safe, fun, imaginative...so good. Let the photos show you..
We had been awaiting Magical bridges park arrival at Sunnyvale. However the layout at Palo Alto seems bigger. Probably also because it was quite crowded on a Sunday evening.
Our favorite neighborhood park is BACK! After 2 years of construction it's been totally remodeled, brand new sports courts with turf and lights for nighttime soccer, cricket, baseball, softball!, 3 basketball courts, new bathrooms, same skate park, new dog park 1 for big dogs, 1 for small, new picnic tables and grilling areas, and best of all NEW MAGICAL BRIDGE PLAYGROUND!!!! These all inclusive playgrounds for all abilities, ages and sizes! are the best around and my 3 year old went CRAZY when we visited yesterday! We are so impressed, the new park is totally awesome!!
The park is closed until Nov 2022 google is wrongly showing as open. There is no grass or kids playground to access. There is giant fencing all around and construction. The skate park on the right corner is open, with limited parking.
It's a very engaging park. It has a seesaw, rope parkour exercises, and it's a nice place to walk or sit around. It's also a decent place to catch Pokemon on Pokemon Go since there's a gym there. The only downside is that it's a pretty dense park. It's not small, but the play area has a lot going for it in its boundary.
Love coming to this park. Very lively but still enough room for everyone to maintain distance. My dog loves to play fetch here.
