So my Husband and I just moved here about three weeks ago and he needed to be seen and we were very skeptical about if they would know what to do to help him. But they did know and they also did it painlessly. So overall we had an awesome first visit here in the ER at Fairchild medical center with the friendliest staff ever and with that being said we highly recommend this hosital to help you or your loved one !! Thank You The Gomez Family
I had to have surgery on my clavicle. I was very nervous when I went in but all the nurses were so nice and professional they really made me feel at ease. They are all were angels in my eyes. Doctor Epperly is who did the surgery, he was amazing and he did such awesome job. My surgery was such a success. I can't thank them all enough.
I had a wonderful experience having my baby at this hospital. Drove up from Shasta county to have a VBAC here because mercy medical doesn’t provide the rights a woman deserves. Although I ended up having a c section due to labor complications, everyone was so supportive and caring. Even provided a candlelight dinner for my husband and I. This hospital has some of the most kind hearted nurses. Even the anesthesiologist held my hand. Definitely worth the effort leaving my hometown to have my baby here.
If I could give no stars I would do that. Fairchild orthopedic is a joke. It's been a month since I needed important papers signed & no one has signed them. I have called everyday for the last 2 weeks to ask & no one answers or returns my call. I have gone in everyday for the last 5 days they've been open & they keep saying someone will call me. I have never been so upset by a terrible office & they won't send a Referral so I can be seen somewhere else.
Fairchild is a joke and consistently misdiagnoses patients on a daily basis. This hospital needs to be purged of all staff and possibly completely shut down. It is ridiculous. If you can, take the drive to Mt. Shasta ER. You have to wait hours on end to be seen anyway so might as well take the extra time to drive.
I just wanted to thank Dr. Christal Duncan and staff, Dr. Ricardo Noble, and the entire staff of Fairchild Medical Center Med Surg unit on the excellent care I received throughout my visits there. I felt genuinely cared for and listened to. The nursing staff on Med Surg was amazing! It was the first time in my life I have ever stayed in a hospital for anything other than being born and I am eternally grateful for all of you. Excellent team work across the board and I feel amazing in my recovery. I appreciate the best health care close to home!!! Thank you all.
So I took my husband to the hospital today. We sat there for 6 hours until a doctor well I should say nurse practitioner finally came and seen him. It was terrible and she was very short and rude. Seems like they just don't care!!
this is by far the most accessible hospital ive ever been to. every time i go here everyone is more than hospitable.
Got here with a sick six year old at 2:30 on a Saturday and there were literally three people waiting. Two and a half hours later we are sitting in the ER waiting room by ourselves. Nobody else has been in the waiting for over a half hour. I think maybe they forgot about us. 2 hours and 45 minutes, still no patients, no nurses, no anyone, just us waiting by ourselves. Do not come here. Drive to Mount Shasta and go to Mercy. I will never come here again.
Worst hospital I've ever been to! They do not care about patients, let alone children! I have never experienced this in my life! We moved out here 3 months ago and have been here on and off due to my kids getting sick from starting school here and they do not care! One of my children bring 5 months old! They are rude on top everything! If you have tattoos, they will treat you like you're trash in front of your children. They tell you they are getting you discharge paper work for 2 to 4 hours saying they'll be a doctor's note and each time there's never a doctor's note and have to wait longer.... Multiple times I hear them talking among each other making fun of other patients! This place is a joke and I will never understand coming from a big city to a little city being treated this way! "What a great community"
