Super Cute library ,very functional , with a great variety of books despite the size of the library. It is a great charming place to go to read, work ,etc. I LOVE IT :
Literally nothing works here ! No study rooms. And this place is a daycare, NOT a library. Wow..
Love this library! Got me back into borrowing books and using Kanopy to rent movies and documentaries. The outdoor book drop off is conventionally available all hours. As well, there is an outdoor pool behind the library that is open during the summer.
They have a pretty good sized used book sale. Books are $0.50-$1. They started receiving book donations again, so there are some good finds. Found 4 books for $3.25
Nice, cozy library in a beautiful building. There's a park and community center right next door.
I used to really like this branch but lately they've been frequently having a lot of issues, leading them to delay opening for as long as 2 hours or closing unexpectedly because of some problem. On top of that, the wifi sometimjes shuts off and on. I'm starting to consider quit going there and start using other branches.
It is very good and it's a large library. But as large as library it is, more homeless people are living in the library.I even saw a homelessperson taking a shower in front of the restroom sink! But it's good for the kids, 'cause the activity they do on every Tuesday and Thursday is so fun.
I went to this library for more than 7 years. The Last time, I borrowed some books for my child from them was in December and returned all the books borrowed before we moved out of LA in Jan. I received an email on 4/13 saying a book is overdue and I reached out to the library explaining that I haven't borrowed the book mentioned in the email even to begin with. They said, they'd look for that and give me a status update. I received an email this am saying that they have looked up for the book i have reported as returned has not been found which makes no sense. Because i told them that I didn't even receive the book and there must have been a mistake on their end when they packed books in a brown back and left it upfront without anyone even checking the library cards when the people are taking them home. It was also mentioned that i am responsible for teh cost of the item and my account is blocked and marked as Delinquent. I am okay donating 15$ or even paying the fine if it was a mistake from my end. BUt, it is not! I am being falsely accused. I am wondering if this has happened to others also recently or if there has been a pattern at the library's end. I am going to pay the fine so it's not reflecting on my account. But, this is not right. NOT AT ALL RIGHT.
Small neighborhood library, near a large park and swimming pool. Parking can be rough as this is a very popular area. It's quiet inside, and most of the staff are friendly and helpful. I prefer to reserve books in advance online. This library is small so its collection is small. By reserving a book with the online system, you can pick it up and the location of your choice.
Our go-to library as close at hand. Very well stocked, friendly librarians and of course you can place a hold and always get the book you want. Two drop off chutes and one is open 24X7 every single day. The pool and the play area is right alongside as is the Pan Pacific Park
