I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The hotel's amenities, including the pool and on-site restaurant, added to the overall experience. The location was perfect, with easy access to the city's attractions. I can't wait to return to this wonderful hotel for another memorable stay
Pleasant and comfortable stay here in good location! We choose this hotel for our first stay in New York City and it was a good choice. Pros: Location is great- modern borough, close to the river, subway station and world trade center. Many dining options nearby. The hotel has small but clean and comfy rooms with smart TV, Wifi, fridge, large bed. There are 2 elevators to use. Some cons: Really small rooms Cleanliness could be better underneath mattress Lack of seats and small dining room for breakfast Problems with debit card payment We will definitely be back!
Nice staff! Nice room, great bed & nice and quiet! Great location! We are coming back! Love the fact that breakfast is included maybe a bit messy with lots of people bit beats paying 60 dollars for breakfast every day at local bakery foe 2 people. You are also so close to so many subway lines!Rooms: 5/5
Great staff, amazing breakfast - the lone deterrent is the property needs a little TLC, not the Marriott standard. Close walkway distance to subway stations 1,2,4,5J,Z lines as well as the NYC ferry. Not many nearby restaurants given its location in the Financial District. One week from Wall Street and Starbucks/Gregory's Coffee shops.
Stay 7/22/23 1 night The good: The front desk staff was super pleasant. The room was clean and had a complimentary water and popcorn. The location is great if you want to be really close to the seaport, Fulton St, Pier 17, etc. The not so good: Construction outside and an attached empty building render the sidewalk appeal nonexistent. Sunday morning breakfast space was too busy to avail ourselves of. The bad: An elevator being out made getting to and from the room difficult and impossible in the morning. The thermostat in the room was only loosely related to the temperature. The result: I might give it another shot in the future if the deal was good enough and I needed to be in the neighborhood. However, if I got a better deal elsewhere, that's where I'd be staying.
Very nice hotel. I slept in the first King size bed ever! It was nice not having 2 beds in a room. They provide a complimentary brealfast. The awesome thing is that my room was decorated for my birthday! They put "Happy Birthday" on the bed with 3 chocolate muffins for each day there. Balloons were included. It was a nice room.
One of the cheaper hotels in the Financial District. The room is fairly modern but small. Bathroom is a bit small. Everything is well maintained. Only complaint is the shower that only give hot water and hottest water. Perfect if you are staying during winter but not so great during summer. Complementary breakfast is ok. Got a good spread of cereal, yogurt, and bread. Food quality is on par with other Fairfield I stayed in. Don't expect gourmet breakfast - quick and easy to get you going first thing in the morning. Then you look for other food once you are out and about. The breakfast area gets crowded past 7:30am and space was tight. Wall Street, Battery Park, Brooklyn Bridge, Peace Tower, Chinatown are all within 15 mins walk. Not a bad place to stay in considering the price.
This hotel was old and outdated but very conveniently place. The staff was pleasant and the room seem good until I saw a stink bug on the curtains. I just killed it and moved on knowing they are harmless. I then went out to grab food and when I came back I noticed stink bugs dead all over the lobby floor and some hanging around near the window and doors upon entrance. Very disturbing but I figured just one night here and then I'll be gone. I went to bed and work up with bites up my leg, they soon inflamed and became painful. I was able to go to a doctor next day in my home town and he informed me they were bed bugs. I've emailed the manager of the hotel no response. Rooms: Infested with bugs
Probably the smallest hotel room I’ve ever had, but that’s New York. Super nice staff and a great location. Located in the Financial District about 8 minutes walk from the nearest subway station Fulton St and located close to some cute restaurants, bars, ice cream shops etc. There were complimentary snacks when I checked in and a free simple breakfast in the morning.
Everything was nice, the location is great and not too busy close to subway stations, the hotel is clean and quiet, staff is nice and helpful and the service breakfast included is worth the price. The view from our room was not as good as the rest, we had a building in front of our window. The bathroom was big enough compared to the actual size of the room. It's equipped with a shower, a sink, a toilet and air conditioning. The breakfast is ok. They serve omelettes with cheese, bacon, turkey, bread, corn flakes, cereals, apples and juices.
