The Fairfield inn serves up a good experience if you just need a night or two away from home. The staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful, but I did find the rooms a little lacking in insulation. I can very easily hear a couple down the hall they were enjoying themselves to conclusion. Maybe not an uncommon thing, but it was so easy to hear other guests that the TV became very important. That said this is an easy location, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful.
The hotel was clean and in a nice area. The staff upon check in was very friendly and kind. Unfortunately the staff in the morning was initially no where to be found and then when they were reached were not very friendly. As a Platinum rewards member one of the perks is guaranteed 4pm checkout unless staying at a resort or convention hotel which the Fairfield Inn is definitely not. When denied a 3-3:30pm checkout request, the staff was unapologetic and cold giving no explanation for the denial. While I understand this is a perk, a little customer service kindness when denying the request with an explanation would go a long way to making me feel like I am valued and that my reward status matters. Staying at as many hotel as I stay in, it is highly unusual to receive this kind of treatment. I’m ok being told no, however tell me know in a way that still makes me feel valued.
Two weeks ago I stayed at the Fairfield Inn, I was there for 7 days and I was very impresses with the service of the staff. From check in to check out these three young people held it down!!! Thank you Ajhane, Kia, and Sean for your polite,proper and professional culture I had the pleasure of knowing. Also last but never least Marie, their manager for her help with my same day re-check in. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to others just based on the staff alone. My room was wonderful and my daily garbage was handle perfectly. Thank you Fairfield Inn it's was a pleasure! Gerald Rooms: Perfect!!!
One night stay after a day of shopping in KOP. Booked a room with 2 queen beds using my Bonvoy points, but instead got a room with 2 double beds on the 3rd floor. Greeted nicely at entrance, room was clean, loud in hallways, but between rooms was just fine. Breakfast was very fresh and nice variety. This hotel isn't as bad as all of the reviews make it out to be!
Room was exactly as pictured, nice and clean. Now the elevator needed some attention. The same hand print was on the elevator doors for my whole stay. I know times are hard but you can fit one good wipe down in the elevator each day. Great free breakfast options. Eggs didnt taste like powder, potatoes had flavor and bacon everyday..yes everyday. I did have a little hiccup on my last night, tv guide went blank lol to be announced hate when that happens, other than that it was great.
Marie at the front desk was friendly, efficient and professional. The guy working at the breakfast station was angry, unhelpful and rude. Our room was not cleaned well. Found some ants on the nightstand. Spiderwebs in the corners. And both the sink and bathtub made funny sounds for 20-30 seconds after shutting off the water.
Stay away from this hotel. Bed Bugs, Bed Bugs, and Bed Bugs in room 191. My experience was terrible and I hope no one goes through what I went with itching for all over the body and body marks from this terrible pest. The problem is hygiene. They do not clean the rooms and room service does not exist.
Staff were friendly. Clean room. But good grief.. couldn't sleep from all the commotion. Walls are super thin, can hear every single thing and word for word conversation when people get excited at 12:30 am..Rooms: 5/5
Checked in to find that their key card system was down, so I had to be let into my room by a member of staff - they couldn't progran keycards. Got to the room to find the bed sheets had blood on them. The sheets and mattress pad also did not fit the bed. Staff kindly agreed to refund me and I stayed elsewhere.Rooms: 1/5
This hotel is infested with rats! Booked two rooms and there was a mouse trap with what looked like peanut butter as bait sitting directly behind the FRONT DOOR of the room! Called the front desk a million times, no answer. Sent a chat in my bonvoy app… no answer. Called from the room phone, and the front desk attendant did not seem surprised about the infestation! He offered another room but refused to answer to the fact that the hotel has a problem! He only stated “it could be a possibility that we have a rat problem”. REALLY. They changed my second room location the one with the trap but what good is that if the entire hotel is rat ridden. I spent my money on this hotel and didn’t have enough to change to another and a refund was never offered. My kids and I slept with all our belongings on the beds/ dressers and with one eye open. Terrible experience!
