We chose this hotel as an alternative of the Residence Inn next door. Comparing to the next door cousin, this Fairfield Inn is a winner. The hotel has a cleaner look and feel. Breakfast was decent, plenty of food options and fruits. The room, albeit smaller, but very comfortable and was suitable for our stay. The best part is, it does not allow pets, so no barking in the early mornings or running footsteps late into the nights. Good service, good room at a reasonable price point... Rooms: Small but comfy Food & drinks: Good breakfast
Filthy and smells of mildew! I switched rooms. Second room was better but still filthy. I brought a pair of brand new slippers and here’s what two days of walking around the room NOT outside but IN the room here’s what they look like. Well, there’s no way to upload my photos but trust me… my slippers were filthy in the bottoms!!! If you are the least sensitive to mold and mildew spores do not stay here!
The young girl with glasses and long hair needs to be fired. 8:20 pm me and another guest were trying to purchase an item from the pantry and no one was at the desk. There was a sign that said we are servicing other guests will be with you momentarily. I was standing in front of the sign so the gentleman behind me didn’t notice it he stepped to the side yelled to the back for service no one replied. I mentioned to the gentleman they may have brought some thing to another guest room when suddenly the young lady worker walked in from outside And said “there’s a sign there for a reason folks so there’s no need to walk in the back ” in a nasty tone. I didn’t appreciate her tone her words and the fact she was including me when I was simply standing there so now she is accusing me of walking in the back. She checked me in 30 minutes prior so She knew I was alone and I was not with this gentleman. The man said something back to her and I said to her that she’s giving us terrible customer service I’m a customer service trainer and her tone in the words she used are absolutely inappropriate and not how things should be handled she gave us more mouth and I told her she just needed to stop she’s already done enough damage and as I walked away she was talking very loudly saying “ I can’t believe how people talk… and she kept going on and on loudly as if she was talking to somebody. So if somebody else was indeed working they should’ve been out there at the desk either way this girl is very young very immature and has no idea how to talk to people and she needs to be terminated because this is not the Fairfield standard. She has no clue what Customerservice is or she has received no training or simply doesn’t care. Or is it because it’s Night Shift you’re just gonna have to hire anybody to fill the spot because you’re desperate for people and tolerate terrible service to I am a pain cast my payment pays her paycheck I refuse to pay somebody to treat me this way and talk to me this way. I will never stay here again and I will tell all my friends and family I have family in the area and I’m visiting family in the area.
I loved this Fairfield Inn & Suites. Friendly and accommodating staff. Great location. Very clean rooms. Cozy hotel. Fire pit running all night in back patio. You’re surrounded by nature but close to Rochester venues. I saw a skunk running by when driving in. So cute.
Beautiful hotel with very clean rooms and friendly staff. Will most definitely stay here next time I'm in RochesterRooms: 4/5
For the first time ever, my mobile key worked! It was a miracle, checked in and out without having to talk to a soul. It’s the little things when you check in late in the evening after a long day. Room was extremely spacious and the hotel was clean. With Marriott, you never know what you’re going to get, unless it’s a Sharaton or W, but this one was one of the more decent properties of theirs that I’ve stayed at. I would recommend it.
Went there to attend a class in conference room only. The room was a little small for 11 people that were in attendance. It's was cold in the room but when they were asked to turn AC to a higher temperature the room was comfortable. The place was very clean and sanitized.
Friendly staff, clean, comfy rooms, lots of breakfast choices. Overall great experience.Rooms: 5/5
MJ at front desk was super, and the breakfast lady was a true ray of sunshine! Rooms were very clean, and housekeeping staff were very nice and accommodating. Water pressure was low, but adequate, except for one instance where the water shut off altogether. This is a very comfortable, well appointed hotel, and I would definitely stay here again.
