Fairmeadows Park

Wonderful playground area for younger kids, those 7 and under would enjoy it the most.

We love this park. It's perfect for our toddler and there is a splash pad for the summer time.

What a PERFECT splash pad for toddlers! Most of the water is coming up instead of pouring down on them, which many little kiddos don't like. My 11 month old loved it. It has bathrooms, a nice shelter house, multiple shade trees by the pad, and a nice, toddler friendly park. There is a school nearby, so you can easily try a new park if you wanted. There is street parking next to the park, or a small parking lot on the other side.

Great place to take the kids. Nice water features and shelter for events.

Great park. The school should organize a regular litter patrol. Teach kids not to litter. I make my kids pick something up every time. " its notyourgarbage but it is your park"

Backing Grant Wood Elementary, this medium sized park has lots to offer. The park is nicely shaded and has a splash pad, playground, and play field. There is also access to the schools playgrounds and the sycamore green belt trail. The equipment is looking dated, but still fully functional. The stand alone slide and jeep are great for littles, the little play house is great when kids start playing pretend, and the climbers are great climbing practice as kids get older. The splash pad, open Memorial Day through Labor Day, was constructed in 2013 and lots of fun for all ages. The water was cold because the weather wasn't as warm today. Go figure the one day we pick for a splash pad! The kids loved playing and wore themselves out. It might be good to have a sign somewhere saying that you have to push the button to keep the water going if you're new like I was.

Fairmeadows Park offers a lovely place to play or hang out, conveniently located by Grantwood Elementary.
