THIS PLACE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST! DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. I had a loved one who was there for a short time. There were a few instances where a staff member OR doctor should have reached out to me to address the situation. However I was NEVER contacted. FOOD- Barely enough served for meals. The food was a horrible quality. There wasn't enough to drink. UNIT- Staff sprays bleach on the floors, letting it sit, and them claims floors are clean. Staff gives attitude when they are asked for a snack or anything such as a question. Unit was very dirty and unsanitary. THERAPY- No 1:1 therapy services provided. When they offered groups, it was two per day, and not the four groups that my loved one was told they would be having. Staff member who was supposed to run the group had an attitude because she was told she had to run the group, and she didnt want to because there were never four groups ran in a day. PSYCHOLOGIST- She was decent, however she didn't spend a lot of time with my loved one, she didnt explain her answers in detail. She tested my loved one to see if they would flip out over spending one more night. She did a fair assessment on my loved one and his needs, however she didn't ever want to reach out and address the concerns that I had about my loved one even though I was the emergency contact. SOCIAL WORKER- She was one of the nicest staff members that my loved one dealt with. She respected my loved one when questions were brought to her attention. She was willing to reach out to me. My loved one was only permitted to go outside twice. However due to a medical condition, my loved one felt like it wasnt safe to go outside due to staff NOT having an epi-pen.
The staff were really rude and would ignore kids and would make fun of them, food was really nasty you don't even know what your eating sometimes. you don't even get fresh air‍, They also lost my daughters clothes when I brought her some clothes. if I can give this place 0 stars I would .
I just want to say that I had a very helpful and successful visit at this facility. The staff are so amazing ! There’s a day shift nurse that is simply amazing at coordinating anything and everything and a treatment team also that Consists of 5 people that everyday talk about your recovery . I enjoyed and took a lot from the groups they offered everyday . The techs were always very helpful. I really appreciate Jamie how she always had a smile and kept things together and Coordinated care with Dr. Silverman. He is also an amazing doctor . He is very patient and very educated and helpful with getting you properly diagnosed. I also appreciate for anyone this applies to the fact they Don’t use physical restraints and really work with you verbally. I had a lot of success learning from my Experience and my Case worker is a behind The doors worker but stays engaged in your treatment and discharge plans . I overall give this facility a good rating based on their perseverance and I just want to show my gratitude. Thank you ! This is my gratitude for your Attitude Jamie and Tyra , Olga , Crystal, Dr. Silverman, the head nurse that sits on N3 Shakira, Christine , Nicole , S, and All the techs and staff all around . Thank you so much for looking out for me and helpings gain insight and get properly medicated . Amanda
The Staff here are ignorant because they dont get paid enough to do there jobs with passion and integrity is what they lack while I was in there they mostly ignore my cry for help they dont care emana the muslims lady that work there along with William and Patel and more I dont remember there names it was dirty disgusting unclean and not safe because male staff tend to fall asleep on there chairs
Horrible experience. Definitely do not recommend this place. Its dirty. And im talking dirty dirty. Most staff are rude and ignore you. Food is awful and half the time you dont even know what your eating. You barely get fresh air. I don’t usually write reviews however this place needs a big red flag. The doctor is nice however you see her for like a second a day and she never gives straight answers. If you go here i just wish you luck.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I would not suggest bringing your loved ones here at all.. even your worst enemy. They misdiagnose patients and completely leave you in the dark when it comes to communication with the patients family. My father was there for exactly 20 days and I never got to speak to a doctor. Barely got to speak with social workers. They have random social workers working with patients and a different one every other day how is that supposed to work when you’re supposed to be getting to know the patient for proper diagnosis. I told this facility on numerous occasions that my father was unable to take a certain medication because it causes bad side effects and it took till day 15 for them to stop giving it to him. The only people I was ever able to get in contact with were the front desk ladies. Which luckily were a lot of help in certain situations. So the one star that I had to give can be for them. I could say a lot more about this facility but I’m going to leave it at this. In my opinion bring your loved ones anywhere else.
Fairmount Behavioral Health is harmful and does more damage than good. It will take years to undo the lasting traumatic effects caused by this facility. The lack of care and communication is horrible and most likely not compliant with state laws. As others have stated, this is not a place for a loved one…I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy.
i got 302 and was sent here against my will. the kids were nice and didn’t give me any problems. I was here for a week and witnessed a fight breakout at least once every day. the staff were nice to me but were devils to the other kids. ive witnessed them curse at them, restrain the kids with excessive force, and when the kids are out of control they forcefully sedate them. some of the kids that were restrained complained of back and arm pain after having three staff workers restraining them. the food was ok. i think i got food poisoning a day before i left. they honestly don’t do much to help you and you pretty much get asked the same questions everyday and they depend how long you’ll stay based on your behavior. the therapist were nice but didn’t offer real therapy services. there were also ants in my room and after my roommate reporting it one of the nurses sprayed bleach and let it sit in hopes of keeping the ants away. some of the male staff creeped me out. i wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
I was there for 44 days last year from 4/5/22 to 5/19/22.Had very good therapist in John and Monica. All the Peer Specialist were great and I am still clean and sober and attending OP at Net Frankford.I had a very good stay there and would recommend this place to others seeking help with addiction.
while I was there kids were fistfighting screaming we spent all day pretty much in our room staff cussed at some kids they were very loud at night I could hardly sleep food was nasty eggs were still gushy not cooked, I had sewage come out of my bathroom drain ants were a big problem paint was peeling house keeping didnt clean correctly. staff would pick favorites we didnt have pens penciles crayons paper cards or anything staff would get mouthy with us kids so I dont recomend sending your kids here.
