Had a blast at this place. Food is very reasonably priced. The races were super exciting.  Wish I knew more about betting. Horse Hooky Tuesdays are a fun and enjoyable way to soak up some sun on a warm summertime afternoon. 1 pm post time, free parking, free admission, $1 hot dogs, $1 sodas, and $1.50 drafts. 7 race thoroughbred card if you want to try your luck at the betting windows. Lively crowds and festive atmosphere. If you are a non-smoker heads up: Smoking is permitted anywhere on the outside grounds, and the second hand smoke in the grandstand area is pervasive. Be prepared for you and your clothes to reek of cheap cigars and cigarettes if you spend any time in the outdoor seating areas / venues.

The place was packed. Plenty of staff to have a great race day.  There were 23 of us as a group and food was good everything was clean even the bathrooms were clean. It was great weather too. If it is hot out there is air conditioning inside and still a great view of the race. The have all the time honored traditions of horse races and a great announcer.  You probably have a better chance gambling here than on a boat to win.

Collinsville, Illinois was there for opening day racing on Tuesday afternoon and Saturday nights. Been in Business now for 95 years. Plenty of room on the outside to enjoy or comfortable sitting on the inside looking down on the track. The only horse racing facility in St Louis/Metro East area.

If horse racing is your thing fun place to do it. Lots of options for where to sit and many food options. Takes a lot of walking but I saw many varied handicap guests all who looked happy. Tuesdays have 1.50 draft and 1 hotdogs

Great atmosphere. There wasn't a whole lot of people when we first got there but as the evening went on it continued to get more and more crowded but not uncomfortable. Is a great evening so awesome to watch the horses race. Sat up in the restaurant on the third floor. Great view to watch the horse race. Everyone was really nice in the restaurant and the prices are very reasonable. However, when we order our dinner, our server did not inform us that we get two sides and we only ordered one and that's what we got but we paid for the entire meal. Great idea for refillable sodas to keep it inexpensive. The food was good.

This was Opening Day and I attended by myself.  I'd never gone before and I enjoyed the atmosphere,  the horses, and the $3 spend on their discount Tuesday. The lady next to me, bet and won on Tense.
