Falk School of Sustainability at Chatham University creates sustainability professionals to address local & global economic, social, and ecological issues.
The "seed" for the Falk School of Sustainability was planted with the tremendous gift of the 388-acre Eden Hall Campus from Eden Hall Foundation in May 2008. It then germinated with its first academic program, the Master of Arts in Food Studies, and continued with Master of Sustainability, with the realization that through the Falk School, Chatham can take on leadership in sustainability for the region and the world. Chatham's Eden Hall Campus will be the only campus in the world built from the ground up on the principles of sustainability. Our future carrying on the legacy of Rachel Carson, Class of 1929, has never looked brighter.
