My favorite place in Fall River — Whether it’s to go for a walk/jog, read a book, or watch the sunset. You will definitely catch a beautiful warm sunset during summer. It’s doesn’t get crowded during the daytime but as soon as it’s the evening it can become a little crowded. There’s also a close by ice cream shop.
6/23 Captain Thomas Hudner Memorial Building. Outstanding Fall River history lessons live here.
It's OK. They need to clean it up a little more. Fall River is a dump. But, this area of town is ok. Won't be back.
Cool place. Nice long boardwalk. Fun to run around
Parking can sometimes be a little tricky, but this is a beautiful area to sit and eat and enjoy the waterfront tucked away in Fall River. The high quality of the boardwalk and the cleanliness is very noteworthy. The display inside the museum and the movies that they offer for free make for an interesting day. You can actually spend a full day here between Battleship Cove and walking the park and having some lunch and enjoying the history and heritage that makes this city great.
This dog friendly public park has great parking, spots to play frisbee or lounge in the sun as well as grill and walk along the river. You’ll be able to see the naval ships and can even pay for a tour on one.
I was there yesterday and the place literally looks abandoned. Trash all over the place and overflowing from the Bins. The Grass looks like it is cut and maintained Monthly as opposed to weekly. I know the MBTA is coming to Fall River soon, are they now managing this Park?
At the time we visited, it was very peaceful and relaxing. The small visitor's center includes an exhibit detailing the city's history.
Nice park with walking area overlooking Battleship cove! Small but pretty near water.
The Heritage Museum almost feels like a visitor center or a help desk at Battleship Cove. They have a beautiful interior with lots of historical photographs and displays like you would see in a very small wing of a museum. But the building is air conditioned and the unisex bathroom is right outside the main entrance.
