Fall River Police Range

Apparently the cops in Fall River don't have to abide by city parking. If you're hungry or thirsty, just park wherever you like and grab a coffee! Ignore those "no parking" signs. And I got a ticket this morning for parking in front of my new apartment. Everyone on the street parked the same way, but I got a ticket. Welcome to the city. I'm sure my tax dollars are going to be well used.

Police brutality seems to be a common theme in this department. Specifically abuse of authority. I'm suffering from PTSD due to the unethical and unlawful actions of officers within the department. The most distressing part is. These officers will lie and cover up for one another. I'm working to obtain any and all video evidence and recorded evidence. It's a long journey. In most years I've always had a positive and pleasant experience with law enforcement. I had never experienced what it was like to be abused by an officer, and intimidated. I don't shun all police officers. But this department needs more funding for staff education. I have suffered from panic attacks. Only to be dismissed, patronized, and discriminated against for my race and gender. It's a scary process. But the fact that police hang up mid conversation is very scary. I'm terrified to be unlawfully detained again. My constitutional rights will be upheld. It will take time and a series of investigations. If you have a safety concern or any sort of issue. This department is not the one to run to for refuge and aid.

These police don’t use common sense and are also rasist.. because I gave them my legal name which is Susan and someone else on the scene called me by my middle name because thts wht I’ve gone by my whole life.. they said I was lying about my name being Susan that I was not there in the report. How did you come to that conclusion??? Oh assume because I’m Black my name couldn’t possibly be Susan. To actually write tht I was not present is insane.

I was in Fall River earlier today on So. Main St. An Officer parked his cruiser SUV #10 across the street from me. When he got out of his vehicle, I said excuse me could I ask you a question. He crossed the street, came right over to me. I just want to say he was so nice, polite, and a great example of an outstanding Police Officer. I didn't get his name, but wanted to say thank you!

Came to my place over a misunderstanding with my neighbor downstairs and were extremely professional and reasonable. Keep up the excellent work FRPD! Wish I had gotten the officer’s name so I could tell his supervisors what a pro they have in this kid.

I guess everybody has a different experience with the law. However, I have yet to see a cop in fallriver that has been disrespectful. Ppl are ppl, give respect and they will return it. They have a dangerous job and it is the lack of respect and lack of understanding that lead to the issues we have today. Without cops this city would be methadone mile. Thank you gil costa for not planting drugs in my house or finding my gold bullion i had hidden when you broken through my window and tore my house apart under the false pretense of a welfare check in june of 2017. Calling me a known drug addict was a nice touch too...a nice lie. It should be noted i have no history of drugs. You will be lucky not to get sued for defaming my character and overtly violating 4th amendment rights. Perhaps one day your constitutional rights will be arbitrarily ignored and you will foolishly wonder "how did we get here". Thank you for being a part of the destruction of the constitutional rights that MY great ancestors bled to give this country. That god i left that city and state of morally bankrupt heathens. You all deserve each other...pretty sad you will probably be rewarded for being a coward that disregarded the constitution of this country. Pretty sad also that there are so many officers just like you that selfishly believe they are better than the actual constitution and the REAL heros and patriots that gave us the freedom that you stomp your filthy feet on everyday.

I have OVER 40,000 views on "Google Reviews". Imagine if I posted here MY FORMAL COMPLAINT THAT I FILED WITH THE FALL RIVER POLICE?!! THE PRESS WOULD HAVE A FIELD DAY.... *By the way, not ALL officers are terrible. Some actually truly care and I'll respect them always!

They work hard and have to deal with so much. I have known many police officers or delt with them throughout my life. I have a lot of respect for them and the programs they offer to the young kids growing up in this city. Keep up the great work
