Fallen Leaf Farm Alpacas Fiber Art and Eco Dying
I met and fell in love with my first alpacas back in 2004. Before I had my animals shorn for the first time, I knew what I was going to do with the fiber. Alpaca is a luxury fiber much like cashmere. When mixed with other wools, and by adding soap and water and rubbing and rolling, you can manipulate the fibers to interlock or make felt. It is a very addictive process, so be careful!
