My family and I have been coming to Dr. Nassar for over a decade and cannot say enough good things about her. Having had our share of dental maladies, Dr Nassar always makes you feel at ease and comfortable. She and her staff are top notch professionals who promote a warm, caring atmosphere. If there are issues with your teeth and further work is necessary she walks you thru all the options and exactly what to expect. A few times I have had to make an emergency appointment which she has always managed to squeeze in. Its rare these days to find a medical professional this dedicated to their patients and Dr Nassar has gone above and beyond for all our dental needs. If you are in search of a new dentist look no further and make an appointment, you’ll be glad you did.
Please note that what you are reading is an ongoing review of Dr. Fadwa Nassar's Falls Church Comprehensive Family Dentistry practice and my experiences. This review is just after a final procedure for a dental implant today, January 10, 2022. I have to say that, yet again, I am thoroughly impressed and happy with the entire process of this dental implant. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Fadwa Nassar's Falls Church Comprehensive Family Dentistry for any and all of your dental needs. Here is why I say this regarding this dental implant procedure: After two root canals OUCH!!! Dr. Nassar suggested that I get a dental implant for one of the teeth that got a root canal due to ongoing issues. Last July 2021 I had two procedures to install the implant into my gum. Below this review is a black and white x-ray that shows the implant in my gum without a tooth. Yes, this did involve some pain but the procedure was handled very well and I was fairly comfortable. Then after a few follow up visits TODAY Jan. 10, 2022 I am happy to get the actual tooth "screwed" into the implant, which was a completely painless procedure that took about 45 minutes. I have attached another x-ray image of the new tooth that was screwed into the implant today so that you can see the finished procedure. **Here is some good advice** - When you see on TV or the Internet/Web that you can get an implant in ONE DAY or that it is a smooth painless procedure don't believe it. It CANNOT be done in one day and remember, getting an implant in your gum is an invasive procedure that does involve some pain BUT it is all about how it is handled by truly professional and passionate practitioners like Dr. Fadwa Nassar. I would STRONGLY suggest contacting this office for all of your dental needs. **************** This is an updated review as of July 9, 2019. Today I went back to Dr. Fadwa Nassar's office to get a crown put on a tooth that had a root canal. This was the last of 2 visits for this process. What is significant about this practice is that a they keep up with and use the latest technology and b they REALLY care about the quality of your experience in every way. This new crown on this tooth actually feels just as natural as all the teeth that I was born with. And the procedure was smooth and pain free. I stick with my five star rating and with my previous posts here. Book an appointment as soon as you can. I have been a patient since this dental practice began and there is a reason why. Dr. Nassar is not only skilled and professional but she and her staff are passionate, caring and will bend over backward to make sure you have a truly pleasant dental experience. Stop looking and book an appointment. You will NOT be sorry.**Update** Yesterday I had an appointment and I was yet again impressed because Dr. Nassar and her team have adopted new digital technology to photographs your teeth WITHOUT X-rays providing a 3 dimensional image of your teeth, which they gladly showed and emailed to me. For some reading this the image may be gross but it is an example of great technology that does not expose you to X-rays. They really keep up with new technologies and use them to the patient's benefit**
I had to leave this as I have been having issues with my tooth. She drilled the wrong tooth even though I told her she was drilling the wrong tooth. After she drilled then she checked her notes and said I was right. My tooth has been annoying me ever since. And no Dr. you won't find patient Sam Iam as why would I want my name on here
Fortunately, I am not one of those people who have had a negative experience with a dentist from their youth. However, if I were, I feel that coming to see Dr. Nassar and her lovely staff would turn that around for the better. They are like a family here and it really makes it feel like a warm environment when I walk in. They're often joking and laughing and it feels like the other patients in the reception area are long-time patients because they ask about each others' family, etc. I come every six months to get a cleaning and have had a few cavities filled, too, and I've always been treated warmly, seated on time, and had up front/advance communication about my bill. The front desk is also very good at explaining why/what my insurance may/did not cover. Dr. Nassar has a gentle touch, calming demeanor, and so much knowledge of dentistry behind her skill that it's no wonder her reviews are so high. The office is conveniently located between Arlington and Falls Church, and has ample free parking. They also have Zoom! whitening and can do crowns same day in-office time saver!. Haven't tried either of these yet. Will update my review once I do.
My family and I have been coming here for years. We always get great care and superb advice. Dr. Nassar and her associates are all very knowledgeable and extremely nice. She is definitely one of the best dentists in the area.
Dr. Nassar is phenomenal. She knows what she’s doing and she is so easy to connect with. The hygienists are kind but are a bit rough with the tender parts of our gums and sometimes a bit defensive when you let them know. It’s not consistently one either... my whole family has had an experience with more than one. Overall, it’s great though.
Dr. Nassar and her staff are just absolutely fantastic. I’m not one to usually feel loyal and passionate about my dentist, but I feel loyal and passionate about Dr. Nassar. I highly recommend her. She makes you feel like a friend and not just a tooth customer.
I have had pleasant experiences with Dr. Nassar and the office in the past, however my last experience with them was more than unpleasant. I had a change in my insurance since the last time I was there. Since I knew my insurance would be changing, I made sure to have everything done - cleaning, fillings, you name it. At that point, they told me my next appointment would be a routine cleaning. Due to the pleasant experience I had with them, I called with my new insurance information to see if it was within network before setting up the routine cleaning appt. I was confirmed by the front desk that it was within network, and made the appt. Come appointment date, I show up and confirm that they accept my insurance BEFORE being seen. The front desk clerk was nice enough to look into the plan, and confirmed that my new insurance was in fact within their network. I go inside, have the routine cleaning done, and I'm told by the tech there's a filling that is still to be done by what she can see in my file. I begin to tell her I don't think that's the case, since I had everything done 6 months ago. Dr. Nassar comes in, and reviews my file, as I try to remind her of when I had come in to have the fillings done, 6 months ago.. she and the tech speak over me to each other, ignoring me, and go on to speak about me as if I were not in the room with them very unprofessional and unacceptable in any customer service oriented setting, if you ask me. Dr. Nassar tells me I still need a filling done, to schedule a time to come back, dismissed me trying to explain what I had been told by her herself 6 months ago "on second thought, I'm looking at this tooth, and we won't do the filling, it's not necessary". The tech repeated this information, as I tried to explain again, what I had been told by the office a few months ago, and the tech tells me to please go on exit the room and I can talk to the doctor outside. I step out, at the check out counter, and the doctor tells me to count which tooth needs the filling.... keep in mind at this point I'm in the hallway, and during this visit no one has looked into this tooth that needs the filling. Once the front desk clerk tells the doctor that she needs to speak to me about my insurance, Dr. Nassar just stops talking about my tooth that needs attention, and walks away. At that point, AFTER receiving services, I'm told that my insurance is actually not within network. I took some time to calm down and process this experience, called back asked to speak to the office manager, who is the same person as the front desk clerk. She was once again rude, and not letting me finish my sentences. All I was told was "sorry for your unpleasant experience, it must have been the fault of someone else at the front, I'll talk to the doctor and see what we can do". To summarize: - unprofessional front desk staff, not accountable for their actions or lack thereof - unprofessional behavior on behalf of Dr. Nassar and the office staff: talking about a patient in front of the patient? Never have I seen such behavior! - unorganized: Being told one thing by the doctor 6 months ago, and her not having 'clicked' something in my file, affecting the treatment I receive on present day - lack of customer service and low patient care: seems to me they care more about $$$ than the patients themselves.
I already loved Dr. Nassar from my personal experience. After a bad experience with my children’s dentist, I decided to bring them in— and am I glad i did! Not only did Dr. Nassar do a superb job as I knew she would, but she was also able to connect with my children and earn their trust! I’m so excited to have made this decision.
I've been going to Dr. Nassar for over 10yrs. Before going I hadn't been to the dentist for many years and I decided if I found a dentist that is good and that I trust I would keep up my regular visits. She is not only a wonderful person but a great dentist. Her staff is great as well.
