Me and my family are seeing Dr Yezdani and his wife for almost 17years now, both are wonderful but the lady at the reception Helly is very disrespectful and rude. She is at the front desk but very unpleasant and arrogant to talk. She doesn’t know how to talk to people at all.
I have been a patient of Dr. Yezdani for decades and always thought he cared passionately for his patients. Currently my office experience didn’t reflect that. I made an appointment with one of the Nurse Practitioners on May 5 if this year. I’m 63 years old and have a considerable amount of pain which interferes with my ability to fall asleep. Add to that for 26 years I worked shift work which has been proven to disrupt your circadian rhythm, and of course there’s the bathroom issue which has me running to use the facilities quite often. This combination has robbed me of sleep for decades interfering with plans resulting in missed appointments. My goal is to attain optimal health which has been in a downward trajectory primarily due to my not being able to get a good night of sleep. I did what any patient would do I made an appointment with my primary care to address it. On May 5 I was informed by a Nurse Practitioner that according to my records a sleeping medication had been previously prescribed but Dr. Yezdani was on vacation and he would talk to him about this once he returned. On May 27 I had a regularly scheduled appointment with the same Nurse Practitioner I had seen previously on May 5. When asked if I needed any medication I reminded him of our conversation about sleep medication and he denied we had ever discussed it. When I pressed him he looked at my chart and said oh yes, I saw you on the 5th of this month but I never mentioned any medication for sleep which isn’t true. He then suggested a medication that has a side effect of weight gain which I immediately said wasn’t in my best interests as I am already considerably overweight and my long term health goal was to address the sleep issue while addressing the weight loss which his suggestion totally undermined. Finally, he suggested I see a psychiatrist for the sleep problems, stating he would collaborate with the psychiatrist. Now, this isn’t the first time I asked for assistance from this office tackling my sled issue. Years ago 7 months after my Mom passed away I asked for help and was cavalierly told that all parents passed it was a part of life and ended up going to a medical aid unit to acquire medication to help me sleep. I was provided with Ambien which in my case caused me to drive my car in my sleep. Again, I’m 63 years old and have been prescribed medication to address sleeping issues on and off for years. I know what has worked for me and what would be effective. Unfortunately, I believed my physician of long standing would also recognize this and address it effectively. Instead I’ve been put off, sent elsewhere and prescribed medication that has harmed me. I am of the opinion it might finally be time to search for another primary care who will actually listen to me as a patient and not consistently put my concerns off as of little or no importance.
Helen the front desk secretary is very rude and unprofessional I can't see how she still working there.
Love the doctor but the wait is insane. My son was there over and hour and the doctor isn't even there he was told he was stuck in traffic. If we were late or missed the appointment we would be charged a $30 no show fee. But yet they don't show and nothing. I think they owe my son $30. His appointment was at one at it's now 2:10 and no one has seen him. Guess I'll have to switch offices. And the women at the front desk are miserable. Don't like your job get a new one.
No one here ever helps . This is the worst doctor office I have ever been too. I just changed my doctor. They all get smart with u, they all don’t know how to do their jobs. Then when u ask for a supervisor or manger they tell you there’s no one in charger . I got disrespected by two ladies here while being a patient here .
The Drs. are so passionate and very caring but.....Worst customer service/front desk ever. They REALLY need to send the administration staff for more training. People usually go to the Dr because they sick and/or in pain.....they don't need to be greeted with a surly, arrogant and argumentative medical receptionist. I'm sure they are loosing people because of the staff. If they get rid of the THEM they would get 5 stars.
The lady at the front desk called me back about a billing dispute and told me to take it up with their third party billing company. When I tried to get some more clarification on who to speak to, she kept talking over me and then hung up on me before I could get a question in edgewise. It was the least professional interaction I have ever had with a business, and I would only give them your money if it’s your last resort.
I called spoke with someone I am assuming that was with the front desk She said that they are accepting new clients but children not adults however she said if you already have a family member that recommended you, you should be able to atleast get in. Moving forward she transferred me and of course I was on hold for over 15 minutes & was disconnected so I called back only for a lady to say we are not excepting any new clients and hung up on me immediately. I didn’t even get a word out the lady was so rude however I am happy because I will definitely make sure my family member switches from this facility I couldn’t believe how rude the employee was. Disgusting and I highly wouldn’t recommend
If I can give this a 0 I would all because of the 2 receptionists in the front! Their ATTITUDE IS RIDICULOUS especially the old lady ! I love doctor Yezdani but they need better people working the front !
The worst customer service. Employees need training in being pleasant. Went to this establishment for a check up. They asked me to pee in a paper cup. No lid no nothing. Rooms are very old . They are definitely in need of an upgrade for their facilities. Bathrooms are not clean. I can't wait to go to a new doctor!
