Family Dentistry, Allen Park MI

I recently had a lot of work done by Dr. Sekerak, he explained everything that was being done. He was very thorough in his explanation of what was going to happen. I happen to have severe social anxiety, my first couple of visits I was terrified! The staff picked up on this and tried their best to make me as comfortable as possible! The front desk, hygienists, dental assistants and both Doctors were so incredibly nice! My daughter saw Dr. Rosenblum, he made her feel comfortable. The hygienist she saw took the time with her and was gentle enough that my daughter was actually happy to have her teeth cleaned. I think the absolute best thing about the entire staff, was how genuinely happy they were for me. I couldn't wait to have my smile back, and they gave it to me!

Just saw a negative review about this practice. Really surprised because I been going to these guys for about a decade, and can't verify any of the details in that negative review. They are all super nice, professional and they are the FIRST dentist office I've gone to where I didn't dread going. Some patients are just crazy, ya know.

Save yourself the trouble and find a better dentist. I took my family here for years because they were in network with my insurance and close to home. I never really felt comfortable but figured it's the dentist, who really ever feels comfortable. The office is very run down and almost dirty. My family was very passively aggressively harrassed about our way of life by the Dentist each time we came in. Although most of the hygienists were very friendly and kind there was at least 2 of them that I would not let touch my children due to them being very rough and clearly uneducated on how to work with children. On more than one occasion my husband's appointments were canceled because the dr.s left on vacation. They also seem pretty out of date on current practices and healthier options. Overall I was very unhappy with this place and glad to have found another dentist.

Dr. Sekerak has performed several dental procedures on me recently including two crowns. Dr. Sekerak is highly competent and very thorough. Dr. Sekerak explains everything he is doing in real time, and he is always prompt. My visits to Family Dentistry could not have been more positive. The office is professionally managed and the staff is well trained and always pleasant. If you are looking for a clinic to meet your general dental needs, Family Dentistry and Dr. Sekerak are your best bet!

The office staff is so nice and friendly. Lindsey is great, super nice and made my nervousness go right away. Will continue to come here.

Friendly staff. My 6 yr old son's goes to this office. He always enjoys his visits there.
