Dr. Hargreaves and his assistant Melussa are so caring, gentle and compassionate. I had an extreme amount of dental work done and Dr. Hargreave’s did a beautiful job giving me my smile back with little to no pain. I would very highly recommend Dr. Hargreaves and this dental office to anyone needing care. I am so thankful that I found them.
Took my son for a check up and cleaning. He had a really good experience. Doctor was gentle and to the point. The hygienist was really great with him as well and explained everything she was doing. We will be back for our 6 month check up!
I’m not sure what all the negative reviews are about, my experience was perfectly fine. From the moment I walked in to when I left, I was treated fairly. The dentists were honest and up front, but never rude. I left feeling really good! I will be back.
Dr. Hargreaves was the only dentist I could get a hold of that was willing to see my husband at 8:00 on a Saturday night for an emergency tooth extraction. My husbands molar broke and was causing him terrible pain and infection had started to set in. The soonest we could get him in anywhere else was the following Tuesday! Dr. Hargreaves made sure he was completely numb before he started removing the tooth and was extremely friendly and very informative in letting us know what he was doing throughout the process. It was a great experience dealing with him and we will now be switching our whole family over to their office!
I am not able to reach the office by phone. They have been open for four hours and the voicemail mailbox is still full and unable to receive new messages. What kind of business doesn't check their messages? I am going to take my business to another dentist who is at least staffed with a person to answer the phone.
I agree with others that Hargreaves and his staff leave much to be desired.  On my first visit, the receptionist kept telling me she didn't receive my records from the other dentist, until I brought in proof, from that other dentist, that they were sent.  The next few cleanings were OK, but the staff seemed strained.  Finally, I was advised to get a crown, although I hadn't had any other problems.  While waiting for my apptmt., another lady complained to me of horrible pain from her temporary, prior to a crown.  I ended up with the same pain until the temporary was removed!  The crown went in OK, but I've experienced a strange redness under my lip in the five months since, and a visit to the dermotologist hasn't helped, so I have another apptmt. for a different dermotologist.  I haven't done anything different outside of having had that rough experience with the temporary before the actual crown.  I went in for another cleaning, and complained.  I was told to relay the dermotologist's med. to the receptionist.  I, physically, walked into the office, and told the receptionist I was hard of hearing, but she refused to get out of her chair, and come to the window. I, finally, walked to the other window to where she was sitting, and on the far side of the office, when she got upset with me, by claiming she understood me.  As I walked out, I caught the hygenist, and began telling her about the dermotologist's med., when that receptionist rudely interrupted me to tell the hygenist she had, supposedly, understood me!  I've, now, received a letter from Hargreaves that my husband and I have been suspended as patients! Update: After visiting a 2nd dermatologist, that redness, under my lower lip, was diagnosed as Perioral Dermatitis, for which I was given an antibiotic lotion, along with a 2nd ointment, which cleared up the redness. Experts aren't sure what causes the condition, but it's been suggested, that one of the triggering factors could be found in the amalgam of a temporary for a crown, along with stress!
I'd seen him before when he was in Burlington. He was nice the first time I had seen him but had become very rude to both me and my mother. I had a tooth that needed filled as the filling had fell out. First he told me that this toothpaste that costed $35 would fix the pain. It did absolutely nothing to help the pain whatsoever. So I come back in to get it filled and he was very rude towards me. They would numb my mouth and leave for 20 or 30 minutes and then come back when my mouth wasn't numb anymore. I had them numb it again and they left and came back when I could feel again and filled my tooth. It was excruciating and I wouldn't be surprised if I tore the armrests open on the chair. Absolutely not worth it to see him.
Terrible business practices, and very unreliable. They rescheduled a relative of mine dental appointment twice, once when my relative came in on the appointed day in pain.
I have been coming here for 2 years. They always treat me very kind. I had several teeth removed over the past few months. He performed oral surgery at no additional cost. In the future I am going to let them provide dentures.
Dentist is very disrespectful and Unprofessional he needs to work on his people skills and manners I will never go back or recommend to anyone
