I was in Bozeman visiting for the weekend and had been fighting a terrible head/chest cold for 8 days. My symptoms were increasingly getting worse and OTC meds were doing nothing to relieve my sinus pressure. I finally decided enough was enough when both eyes were showing signs of infection and I feared a sinus infection was also setting in I am no stranger to sinus infections, I know the signs. I had absolutely no complaints with anyone in this office EXCEPT the doctor, Mary Boscamp. She was rude from the minute she entered the room. She would NOT listen to me, spoke over me, and was so condescending it was all I could do to not walk out. She informed me that there was no way I could be getting a sinus infection, as this takes a MINIMUM of 10 days to develop. She told me my high blood pressure 160/116 was likely due to "something else" that was stressing me. She told me my eyes looked fine all diagnosed WITHOUT getting out of her chair to examine me!. I explained that I had surgery on my eyes only months ago, and having an infection was very concerning to me. She COMPLETELY blew me off! Gave me a lecture on the over- usage of antibiotics I hadn't had an antibiotic in years and I should wait until day 10 to see if my sinuses were still a problem and at that point I should go BACK to the doctor to have a sinus infection treated. She apparently didn't believe I have a codeine issue as when I told her it makes me vomit, she said "Well you know you can't take it on an empty stomach". I am nearing 50 years old and quite frankly know how my body reacts to certain drugs, no lecture needed! In the end she agreed my eyes needed antibiotics. Imagine how THANKFUL I WAS?!! Horrible doctor!!!
I fell on my back on some black ice in Yellowstone and called Family Doctors Urgent Care while in route to Bozeman at least 45 minutes before I got there. I explained to the receptionist that I was having very severe breathing problems and all she did is give me their closing time. When I arrived, I told her again what had happened and the difficulty I was having breathing. Several patients were taken back while I waited including two or three that came in after I did. After more than 45 minutes, they finally brought me back, took X-rays, and discovered that I had a pneumothorax, punctured and collapsed lung. Once I arrived at the hospital my doctor told me that I was VERY lucky to be alive! I sent the doctor a suggestion from my best friend in NC who is a family doctor and at his practice, if anyone has breathing issues or signs of a heart attack, then they are must push a button that rings four tones and everyone there is responsible for making sure that patient is cared for!
This place is awful. I went to see a doctor about a skin issue I was having. The doctor Susie treated me like I had no idea what I was talking about. I have dealt with this since I was a kid and am in the skin care business myself. She was very rude and condescending to me to the point where I got up and left the office. I then went to the other urgent care in town expecting to get my problem taken care of so I could go on with my day. Come to find out she had sent a letter I later found out it was my chart notes to this office. The way this was written was slanderous and she made me sound like a crazy person. Not only is it unprofessional it makes me embarrassed to go back to this other urgent care. Unfortunately this didn't break any HIPPA laws but I feel like something should be done about this doctor who is one of the reasons people have a negative outlook on doctors. She prides herself on being a practitioner for 25 years, apparently she missed the part of treating patents with respect and having proper bedside manner. Luckily the new doctor saw the need for me to be treated. I'm glad this lady's misguided opinion of me was not taken seriously. I wish I could give this place 0 stars.
Place is a joke. They do not take health care as serious as it needs to be taken. I didnt even get to meet with a doctor after setting up an appointment. Instead they had me meet with a nurse who did not know anything about what i was dealing with. she was extremely unhelpful. Thanks for wasting my time and money on basically a fake doctor. A nurse is not a doctor. I will never use this place again and i hope noone else does in bozeman. they will waste your time and money. Not helpful at all. Hope they go out of business because they did not help me at all.
Worst experience ever, the older lady doctor refused to give me any pain medication for my broken thumb because I did not want to pay for the x-ray. She was pretty rude to me as well, I recommend not even going to this place for any acute pain/care.
Awful!!!! They truly don't care about anything except collecting there money! Doctor rushed me in and out and completely misdiagnosed my knee injury, still walking around with a blown knee....thanks for nothing
Called because we are out of state are family Dr told me to get her seen right away called this urgent care told them what was wrong said to get there at 5 get there and there closed it seems to me like they don't care since they wouldn't even wait we got there at 4:59 pm will say I'm very displeased with that urgent care
I have been here once and had my daughter here several times. We've never had much of a wait and all of the staff was very friendly and helpful.
scary, I had a bloody nose, I had to stop the frustrated doctor from hurting me more
