This Family Dollar is located right outside my neighborhood so it's very convenient to shop at. I probably frequent this place several times a week they always have good deals. However the employees are not always around when you need them they do not welcome you when you come in they usually thank you for being there but they don't tell you about the survey on the back of the receipts or about the online app and savings that you can get it can be pretty confusing. Also from a few of the pictures I posted you can see this a lot of times the shelves are not stocked fully they're missing things that are in the ad and most of the time it's hard to find items because they're either not priced Right not in the right spot or it's a mess. They could definitely use someone merchandising or doing recovery.
I walked in and no one was around. I did see someone as I walked through the aisle, but she was on her phone. I decided to just leave since I wasn't finding what I needed. Not sure if I will come back to this location.
place was messy,assistant manager at the register on speaker phone having personnel conversation while checking me out. Not pleasant experience.
Prices good. Fair amount of different types of merchandise. Quality of some merchandise is below average. Not worth buying. You should look over merchandise closely before buying it. It's the age old let the buyer beware. Edit nothing much has changed.
Make sure to watch what U buy. They are listing prices on the shelves as one price and when they ring the items up they are over charging you between .40 cents up to 1 dollar. Garbage staff here that refuses to do there jobs in taking care of customers especially when they are showing and proving the price issue
Poor attitude from the employees. The one new guy you could tell he was new because he was working just wanted to keep his mouth shut. This woman that was in front of me was being harassed by an associate about her receipt that he did not give to her. He charged her card and tried to say that she was stealing soap I watched the guy scan everything. I had to step in andTell him look you rang in the soap you’re simply incompetent just so we could get the line moving. Nosy there seemed to care.
I usually never expect much out of affordable stores being that they usually tend to sacrifice quality for quantity. I have been here several times and always find what I am looking for. The store is orgnized and there's always someone at the counter. There was an older man stocking shelves the othet night didn't catchs his name and his customer service was amazing. I was looking for drawer containers and he looked for me until he found them. The ladies at the register were also very kind. Good place to shop at!
The store’s general manger would be wise to get rid of their so called “manager”. I want to say her name was Mickey or something with an M. Anyway, she is rude, incompetent and all around unpleasant. She saw 15 people standing in line and walked the other way. While the “newbie” attempted to tend to everyone. The new guy was unsure about my coupons so he called her. She reluctantly came over and refused to oblige by the ad. I didn’t have time to deal with her stupidity so i left my stuff on the counter. Horrible customer service. She was just as ghetto as the store

If there was a 0 for a rating it would be that. Whoever Carlos is i believe is his name. Older gentleman with a pony tail. He obviously has 0 customer service experience n should not by any means be working in the customer service environment. Pretty much told me and my family n another young lady that we get the award for the people who came at the wrong time. Snotty attitude. Store is an absolute disgrace. Can barely walk thru it shelves are empty n needs to be cleaned and organzied. All in general just needs a new staff.
