I really scored at this location!! The store was clean, organized and well stocked. I'm one of those people that has to look at EVERYTHING and I can't be rushed!! You'll never know what you're going to find unless you look!! When I find a treasure, I like to stock up on them. The next time you go back, it might not be there. I found Goli vitamin chews I really stocked up on them!!, YES facial wipes and facial scrub and vegan toothbrushes. I'll definitely be back to see what other treasures I can find!!
The store is constantly a disorganized mess. Cashiers are rude and unfriendly. A simple question resulted in a disrespectful attitude from the cashier. Overall experience left much to be desired. Not to mention Batavia now charges for bags…. I’ll shop elsewhere.
I am not one to leave reviews, but I couldn’t help but do so after my visit. I went in to buy some Mother’s Day cards day before mother’s day and they were slammed. There were only two associates working and they were both on the registers. The lines were long, but that didn’t bother me. I came back a few hours later to grab some other things and the same two associates were in the same place they were at when I had left the store earlier. I ended up talking to Karen, the lady working, and asked her if they had been the only two people working for the day and she said yes. I had mentioned that I was in the store earlier when they were slammed and her immediate response was to apologize for the long wait times. I told her that the long wait times were not an issue, and that I actually felt sorry that they didn’t have any additional help during such a busy day. She looked extremely grateful that I had understood the struggle of being short staffed and kept thanking me for being empathetic. Moral of the story: always be kind. Long wait times at any establishment these days are not the employees fault. They’re doing their best to keep up with the circumstances at work. The people working are human too. I will be reaching out to someone higher up in hopes of giving them the recognition they deserve for their hard work.
I WENT TO DOLLAR TREE TODAY THE WOKER NAMED LESLY WAS VERY VERY NICE AND HAS A REALLY GOOD VIBE AND THE STORE IS REALLY ORGANIZED WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!! Even tho it’s a half hour drive THANK YOU LESLY FOR BEING A VERY HAPPY PERSON!
The manager does not have good customer service skills, nor does he know how handle the store when its busy. The assistant manager was amazing and should be the store manager. If I was giving her a rate would have been 5 stars. Dan I think his name is. Take some customer service skills before you lose alot of customer. Stop being rude and talking down to people like if we are little kids. I did not go off on you because I was not going to go to you level.
I tried to shop at this Dollar Tree a few hours after it opened and was shocked at how trashed it was. There was litter and product all over the floors. I walked out without making a purchase. I will shop elsewhere.
There's a wide variety of products, the store is clean. Although I have not personally had a bad experience, I did witness one today. A customer came in today looking for balloons. She was friendly when she asked. However, the employee was not. Apparently, the store is out of helium. The employee was rude in her response, her mannerisms, was not helpful at all, didn't show any empathy or offer any suggestions-- nothing. I've worked in retail, as well. You deal with people. Some are friendly, some are not. The nature of the business requires you to deal with all customers, regardless. If you don't like people, don't like "dealing" with them, don't work retail. It's possible the employee was having a bad day; we all have those. Unfortunately, although it might be difficult, we must continue to treat customers well.
I always have really good experiences at this particular dollar tree. This morning, I needed a whole bunch of balloons. They had a great selection and the young lady, Amy, who helped me was truly great.
They had exactly what I was looking for and I even found a few extra things too. I like the fact that this is truly a dollar store, no need to guess at prices here. The store was clean and organized. The cashier was friendly. A good experience there.
Probably the most lazy employee ever. I came here early in the morning to grab some cleaning supplies for my job. At this very moment it is 8:20 am and online it says they open at 8am. This employee is sitting in his blue scion car right next to me for the past 30mins and still hasn't opened the store. He seen me walk up to the door at 8:10 and still hasn't flinched to get out of his car or get off his phone. What a lazy employee. I will never come here again and I'll be sure to let my clients know as well. I would rate 0 stars but you cant.
